Sculptural works are a major feature of this sale, led by a substantial collection of pieces from the estate of abstract sculptor Raymond Rocklin. Rocklin’s work highlights a diverse experimentation with form and material, encompassing carved wood abstracts, mixed metal structures, and heavy stone compositions.

The catalog is equally strong in mid-century and modern graphic arts. Collectors will find a significant group of color lithographs by the renowned printmaker Benton Spruance, showcasing his mastery of the medium. This is complemented by a series of bold, colorful modernist drawings and mixed media collages by Louis Tavelli.
