A background check will be required for all buyers purchasing a firearm and/or ammunition. NYS charges a background check fee for all firearms and ammunition. The fee is $9 for firearms and $2.50 for ammunition. The NYS fee is per background check NOT per lot, will be collected directly by Civil Armory, and is in addition to any transfer fees.
