Alderfer Auction presents a Collectors Auction featuring fine jewelry, sterling silver, Asian art, fine art, period furniture, decorative arts, and historical collectibles spanning multiple collecting categories.

Auction will be open for pre-bidding two weeks prior to the auction at alderferauction.com on Thursday July 16th at 10AM, at which time pre-bidding will cease and the auction will go live at the auction center (no live audience, just our auctioneer and auction staff).

Fine jewelry includes 14k and 18k gold necklaces, bracelets, rings, brooches, cufflinks, diamond and gemstone jewelry, cultured pearl pieces, Russian Orthodox crosses, Tiffany & Co. jewelry, Chopard accessories, and designer gold and gemstone examples.

Sterling silver includes a Gorham "Strasbourg" sterling silver tea and coffee service, Tiffany & Co. sterling, Russian silver, English sterling, continental silver boxes, vanity accessories, serving pieces, and decorative silver objects. Also includes gold and silver bullion coins and commemoratives.

The Asian section includes Japanese and Chinese cloisonné, Satsuma, Shibayama, silver, mixed metal, and porcelain works. Featured lots include Yabu Meizan Japanese Satsuma pottery, Kinkozan Satsuma charger, Ogasawara Shuzo ginbari cloisonné, and additional examples by Kumeno Teitaro, Hayashi Kodenji, Ando, Takeuchi Chubei , Yoshihide, Lao Tian Li , Fang Jiu Xia Chinese silver cup set, and additional Japanese cloisonné vases, censers, jars, and commemorative pieces.

Fine art includes works by Humbert Howard, Walter Launt Palmer, Benton Spruance, Daniel E. Greene, Marian Parkhurst Sloane, Christopher G. Willett, Carl Dennis Laughlin, David Tinsley, William Bowie, and Scott Woolever, along with additional paintings, prints, and sculpture.

Furniture and decorative arts include a bench made tiger maple highboy, a Hungarian Biedermeier secrétaire abattant, a French Zodiac garden center table, painted carousel horses, leaded slag glass lamps, Bohemian Art Nouveau glass, Rosenthal - Versace "Medusa" China, Hermes, Erte, Persian rugs, McIntosh stereo components, and other porcelain and art glass.

Read Before Bidding | Live Online Auctions
Auction will be open for pre-bidding two weeks prior to the auction on Thursday July 16^th at 10AM, at which time pre-bidding will cease and the auction will go live at the auction center (no live audience, just our auctioneer and auction staff). When the auction goes live, lots will be sold one at a time, in numerical order, by a live auctioneer who will be taking bids from multiple online bidding platforms, absentee and phone bids. During pre-bidding you are able to submit a max (maximum) bid. The bidding platform or our auction staff will bid on your behalf up to the maximum bid that you have entered. Once the auction goes live if you wish to increase your bid you will have to wait until that lot opens for bidding and enter any additional bids manually.

Pick-Up
Successful Bidders will be notified to schedule a pick-up following the auction. Schedule your pick-up with Alderfer Auction by following this link: https://booking.appointy.com/alderferauction. Customers must schedule or inform Alderfer Auction of pickup or ship date and time, within fifteen (15) business days after the auction closes. On the sixteenth (16) business day, the buyer will incur a storage fee of $5.00 per day up to the 60^th day at which point the product will be considered abandoned despite payment status and without notification.
