This Coins & Currency Auction features U.S. gold coins, silver dollars, mint and proof sets, early copper and nickel coinage, 90% silver, world silver, bullion, and collectible paper currency. The catalog spans early American coinage through modern issues, with strong representation in gold, silver, type coins, and collector albums.

Bid online now through Wednesday, July 8th at alderferauction.com. This auction will begin closing at 7 PM at a rate of 2 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 30 Seconds for each lot once it begins to close. Gold coin offerings include Liberty Head and Indian Head gold pieces in multiple denominations. The sale includes $2.50 Liberty gold coins, $2.50 Indian gold coins, $3 Indian Princess gold coins, $5 Liberty gold coins, $5 Indian gold coins, $10 Liberty gold coins, and $10 Indian gold coins. Additional gold includes a Sesquicentennial commemorative gold coin and an 1899 Russian 5 Rubles gold piece.
Silver coinage is heavily represented throughout the catalog. Numerous lots contain 90% U.S. silver coins, along with Barber dimes, Barber quarters, Barber half dollars, Mercury dimes, Liberty Walking half dollars, Seated Liberty coinage, Morgan dollars, and Peace dollars. Peace dollar offerings include circulated groups, uncirculated groups, and a complete Peace dollar album containing key dates including 1921 and 1934-S. Morgan dollar lots include both individual dates and grouped offerings.
Collector albums and folders include Indian cents, Lincoln Wheat cents, Liberty V-Nickels, Roosevelt dimes, Barber quarters, and complete or near-complete date runs. Early U.S. coinage represented in mixed lots includes half cents, large cents, Flying Eagle cents, Indian cents, Two Cent pieces, Three Cent Nickels, Three Cent Silver pieces, Shield nickels, Liberty V-Nickels, Buffalo nickels, Seated half dimes, Seated dimes, and additional 19th-century coin types.
Mint and proof sets form another major category, with U.S. Mint Sets from the 1950s through the 1980s, proof sets from the 1950s and 1960s, consumer sets, commemorative issues, and modern collector products. Additional silver offerings include Sterling Silver rounds, Silver Eagles, silver bars, modern Royal Mint silver proof collections, Andorra silver proof coins, and other world silver issues.
Paper currency includes large-size and small-size U.S. notes, featuring Silver Certificates, Federal Reserve Notes, Federal Reserve Bank Notes, National Bank Notes, Gold Certificates, Hawaii overprint notes, fractional currency, and star notes. Pennsylvania currency collectors will note a 1929 Huntingdon, Pennsylvania National Bank Note among the offerings.
