IMPORTANT: Buyer Responsibilities The awarded buyer is responsible, at the buyer's sole cost and risk, for all of the following: De-installation: Physical removal of all equipment from the racks, including unbolting, unmounting, rail removal, and any rack disassembly required for removal. Packing: Palletization, crating, anti-static handling, and any specialized packing. Certain IBM systems may require specialized crating (for example, Arbo crates) with extended procurement lead times; sourcing these is the buyer's responsibility. Transportation: Loading, transport, insurance in transit, and shipment of all equipment from the QTS facility to the buyer's destination. Labor, tools, and equipment: All movers, lift tools, dollies, and personnel required for safe removal, including any specialized handling for heavy or liquid-cooled systems such as the IBM z16 mainframe. OEM license / Machine Code transfer: Any OEM license, entitlement, or Machine Code transfer (for example, IBM Machine Code via IBM's GARS or broker-mediated process, or Cisco Smart Licensing) is the buyer's responsibility and is handled directly with the OEM
