We will sell by Absolute Auction (live, in-person bidding) located at the Kidron Auction Sprunger Building:

13071 Emerson Rd. Apple Creek, OH 44606

Approx. 10 miles East of Wooster on Rt. 30, then South on Kidron Rd. for 4 miles and West on Emerson Rd. to Sprunger Bldg. entrance.  Held inside with seats and plenty of parking.  Online bidding will be available through Proxibid.  Full auction catalog will be available by September 10th.  Check back for updates.

Indian Artifacts and Ancient Relics:  500+ Flint and Chert points including Paleo lanceolates, points, and blades; Adena, Hopewell, Turkeytail, and other points; side, corner, and basal notch points; dovetail and bifurcate points; drills; bird points; ovoid blades and scrapers; and many other points; many points found in Wayne, Holmes, Ashland, Medina, and Summit counties; banded slate bannerstones and effigy pieces; slate pendants and gorgets; (2) banded slate birdstones; clay pipes; many hardstone celts and grooved axes; grooved trophy axes; discoidal stones; ceremonial picks; plummets, pestles, and other stone tools; large obsidian axe; shark teeth; fossilized mastodon teeth; many unlisted artifacts and ancient relics.

 

NOTE: These artifacts are from the lifelong collection of the late Mr. Steve Clark. Many of the artifacts were found by Mr. Clark on his family farm in Summit County and other farms in surrounding Ohio counties.  Some of the points are from collections that were acquired by Mr. Clark from West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, and New York.  Some of the better pieces will be sold individually, and many will be sold in lots.  Full catalog and photos of individual lots will be available by September 10th.  Online bidding will be available through Proxibid, but we encourage live, in person bidding so that bidders can see the items in person.
