Auction Timeline:

• Begins: Wednesday, August 5 at 10:00 AM
• Ends: Tuesday, August 11 starting at 7:00 PM (see individual item for approximate ending time*)
  *Bidding will extend for 2 minutes if a bid is placed within two minutes of closing. 

Bidder Registration:
All new vehicle bidders must complete and return the Auto Auction Bidder Registration Form by 6:00 PM on the final auction night.
Returning bidders who have been approved previously can simply log in with your existing account and click the “Get approved to bid” button once.

Note:

• Changes to the listing (additions, deletions, corrections) may be made before the auction begins.
• Vehicles run unless otherwise noted in the description. Videos will be uploaded by auction day.
• An Experian AutoCheck PDF is available under the File section for download (when accessible).

Available Appointment Dates:

• Thursday, Aug 13: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Friday, Aug 14: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Saturday, Aug 15: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (office hours only until the last scheduled appointment)

Appointments are scheduled consecutively.

Deposit:
A non-refundable $50 deposit per vehicle is required, which will be credited upon vehicle payment.

Documentation & Signatures:

• We will review and confirm the name(s) for documents, driver’s license, physical, and mailing address.
• If transferring the vehicle into another person's name, we need their full info and driver’s license number.
• All documents will be prepared for signing upon your arrival.
• The individual whose name will be on the title must be present with ID.

Payment Methods:

• Chip-enabled Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover (matching billing address, CVV, and expiration)
• Cash (please bring nearly exact amount)
• Debit Card: Call your bank in advance to lift your daily limit before your appointment.

Additional Fees:

• $200 buyer’s premium, charged at your appointment (non-refundable)
• Sales Tax: 9.7% (boats and trailers: 9.2%)
• Title and License Fees: start at $193, payable during your appointment as arranged with Stokes Auction. These fees vary based on vehicle type, weight and your license address.

Please note: Total fees are not reflected on your invoice

High Bidder Information:

• Call our office on Wednesday, After the Auction between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM to schedule your appointment at (360) 876-0236.
• It is the high bidder’s responsibility to contact us, even if transferring the vehicle into another’s name.
• The high bidder is ultimately responsible for full payment.

The BUYERS FEE / Vehicle Buyer's Premium for any Vehicle Auction is a flat $200 per titled unit. If you see 0% listed, that is so we do not charge you a percent of the bid price.

DOL Filing fees will be added at your appointment based on the vehicle/scale weight and where your reside.

Bidder acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions contained herein. Please read and understand the Terms and Conditions before you bid. Any bid placed by you guarantees that you have read the following terms and conditions of the sale.

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

All items are described to the best of our knowledge.  Stokes Auction (Auctioneer) makes no warranties or representations express or implied with respect to such property as to the physical condition, quality, rarity, importance, provenance, medium, period, origin, or estimated value of any lot sold. All measurements and weights are approximate. The absence of condition remarks in the catalog entry does not mean the item is in perfect condition or poor condition.  No statement anywhere, whether oral or written, listed in the catalog, advertisement, invoice or remarks by staff or the auctioneer, shall be considered a warranty representation or assumption of liability. Descriptions and printed materials are meant merely as a guide.
Any pre-auction estimates are intended as guides and may not be reflective of the actual final bid. Please determine condition, genuineness and/or authenticity before you bid as all items are sold "As is, where is" All sales are recorded and final. Bidder will indemnify and hold harmless Auctioneer or his/her agents or employees from any and all actions, lawsuits, damages, costs and losses of any nature, arising from the sale, purchase or use of any lot / item or the attendance and participation at the auction site before, during or after the auction sale. 

1. REGISTRATION
   Bidder must register for the Auction before his/her bid will be accepted.
   Registration on the auction platform is required for all auctions. For vehicle auctions there is an additional registration form. See our website for link.

2. BUYERS PREMIUMS and SALES TAX
   General Merchandise: subject to a 12% buyer's premium which will be added to the hammer price for each lot sold plus sales tax of 9.2%.
   Vehicles: Subject to a flat $200 buyer's premium and a 9.5% sales tax.

3. PAYMENT
   We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover with matching billing address, CVV Code and Expiration Date. No lot or item purchased will be released to the Buyer until the purchase price has been paid in full. Should funds not be negotiable, legal action will be initiated and bidder will be responsible for costs incurred. See auction listing for payment instructions. Cash is accepted, please let us know when you make your appointment and bring close the the amount due.
4. PICK UP
   Please call to schedule a pick up time for the items you purchased. Items must be picked up on the date posted in the auction listing.
   Shipping is generally not offered by our company. Pack & Mail Plus will handle smaller items for a cost of pick up and shipping. Call them before bidding to confirm shipping. They pick up, pack & ship, contact them directly for rates and to arrange pick up (360) 876-5571. 

5. AGENCY
   Auctioneer has been hired by the seller and is acting as their agent in conducting the auction, and Auctioneer is not serving as an agent for any bidder or buyer.

7. TERMS OF GUARANTEE
   Each lot will be sold AS IS, WHERE IS with all defects and faults. No warranties or guarantees of any kind will be given by Seller or Auctioneer. All weights, counts and measurements are approximate. It is the responsibility of the buyer to obtain all possible lot information prior to bidding. Bidders should, whenever possible, carefully inspect each lot to determine condition and contents.

8. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
   Registering to bid and or placing a bid of any kind will indicate that the bidder has full understanding of the terms and conditions and accepts these terms along with the agreement to be so bound. Terms may not be amended in any way except by a signed, written agreement between Auctioneer and Bidder.
9. ELECTRONIC BIDDING
   Stokes Auction is NOT responsible for technology disruptions, errors, failures or lag between your system and APRO. This may include disruptions to bidding or the
10. failure to execute, recognize, or record online bids, which may caused by loss of connectivity, your internet connection, your email not receiving outbid notices (etc), computer or system lag, breakdown, disruption, failure of the auction platform.
    Stokes Auction may, but is not required to, continue, suspend, delay, extend, reschedule, or close the Auction because of disruptions caused by technology failures, even after bidding has commenced. It is recommended that you do not wait for the last seconds to bid as lag can occur between the Apro system and your computer or phone.
11. ELECTRONIC INVOICES
    It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm they have a viable email that will not block apro.bid or stokesauction.com. Invoices are emailed to the high bidders immediately after the close of the entire auction. Please make sure your email is correct and your spam filters on your ISP are not too high. If you do not receive your invoice, please check your personal spam/junk mail box or sign onto Apro and view your invoice, typically available shortly after close of the auction.
