A larger-than-life figure in the golf industry, Tom Tanto was a contractor, owner and partner in successful golf businesses nationally and internationally. He was at the forefront of golf course irrigation development, shaping the industry with his expertise, innovation, and work ethic. Locally, Tom was the founder and first president of Totteridge Golf Course and Residential Community. He is remembered for his gregarios personality and love of America by all who were fortunate to know him.
