This Coin & Currency Auction features a large selection of Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars, U.S. silver coinage, American Silver Eagles, gold coins, proof and mint sets, commemoratives, currency, and mixed collectible coins. The catalog is particularly strong in silver dollars, with more than 200 Morgan Dollar lots and a substantial group of Peace Dollars spanning numerous dates, mint marks, grades, and multi-coin groupings.

Bid online now through Tuesday, September 15th at alderferauction.com. This auction will begin closing at 7PM at a rate of 2 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 30 seconds for each lot once it begins to close.

Morgan Dollars form the core of the sale, including 1888-O “Hot Lips” doubled-die varieties, individual and grouped dollars from the Philadelphia, Carson City, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Denver mints, and coins offered in circulated through Brilliant Uncirculated grades. The selection includes numerous late-19th and early-20th-century issues, along with rolls, groups, and better-grade examples.

Peace Silver Dollars are also extensively represented, with dates from the 1920s and 1930s offered individually and in groups. Additional classic U.S. silver includes Walking Liberty and Franklin Half Dollars, Kennedy Half Dollars, Washington Quarters, Mercury and Roosevelt Dimes, and mixed lots of 90% U.S. silver coinage.

American Silver Eagles include individual and grouped examples from multiple years, UNC and Proof coins, colorized issues, ANACS-graded examples, and a 2013 75th Anniversary West Point two-coin set. Bullion offerings also include a 2000 Giant Silver Eagle .999 silver round weighing six ounces.

Gold is led by a 1927 $20 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle graded MS65 by PCGS, along with a 2000 $5 American Gold Eagle containing 1/10 ounce of gold and additional gold coinage represented throughout the catalog.

Collectors will also find U.S. Proof Sets, Mint Sets, commemorative coins, state quarter sets, Indian Head and Lincoln cents, Buffalo and Jefferson nickels, and mixed U.S. coin groups. Currency is represented as well, adding another category to the sale.
