The July 21st off-site online auction will be held for ASG Data Center. The building is located in Dearborn, MI two miles off of I-94 surrounded by Ford Motor Company office parks. ASG Data Center, now permanently closed, continues to sell computer parts online.

 

Nearly 600 lots are for sale in the following categories: computers and computer parts, motherboards, network equipment, office equipment and furniture, light fixtures, servers, server chassis' and server pallets, KVM, switches and towers. Note that many items may appear to be duplicated but they have only been divided into multiple lots.

 

Computers include Dell and HP towers, some with Intel processors. There are also varied notebooks, all of which are barebone.

 

Computer parts span  a wide range of electronic components such as keyboards, flat screen monitors, disc drives like DVD/CD rewriteable drives, RAM, micro processors and CFU fans. You can find many boxes of assorted computer parts including power and AC cords, brackets, flash drives, batteries and unspecified computer parts. Parts are ideal for replacement needs or those with interest in building their own computers.

 

Office furniture includes an assortment of leather and mesh chairs, shelving units, desks and metal wire racks. Office chairs and desks can be used in the work place and personal office space while the shelving units and wire racks are better suited for a business enviornment.

 

The office equipment category offers Xerox Docuprint feeders, Laserjet printers and toner, Garmin Nuvi GPS's, large capacity HP printers,  lots of Dell Optiplex towers, lots of Dell PL90ST monitors. Other office equipment includes varied wall monitors, rolling computer work stations, paper cutters and shipping materials.

 

Network equipment contains almost 200 lots alone. The majority of products in this category are wireless routers, DVD/CD drives, laptop accessories, office phones, wallmount cabinets, micro-processor cards, firewalls and various cables. Laptops in this category are not fully functional computers, some are barebone, some have previously experienced various issues.
