Richmond Auction Center will present a special live auction featuring items from the personal collection of William “Marty” Johnson of Richmond, Indiana.
Marty was well known throughout the Richmond community as a longtime hairstylist, artist, friend, and familiar face to many. A Richmond High School graduate, he spent more than 40 years in cosmetology, was involved with the Richmond Art Museum, and was remembered for his creativity, warmth, faith, and ability to connect with people.
This auction will include pottery, local art, antiques, unique and eclectic finds, collectibles, decorative pieces, household items, and more from Marty’s personal collection.
Please note: Marty’s religious relic collection will be offered later in a separate online auction. We plan to announce that online auction date by auction day.
Many people in the community have already asked about Marty’s items, and we expect strong local interest. Come look things over and take part in a Richmond community auction connected to someone many people knew and cared about.
