Bid online now through Wednesday, September 23rd at alderferauction.com. This auction will begin closing at 7 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 3 minutes for each lot once it begins to close.

The auction's European and international selection is highlighted by a range of regional styles and traditions. Bidders will find British sterling from the Georgian, Victorian, and Modern eras, including muffineers, salt cellars, and flatware, alongside Austro-Hungarian and German 800 silver, Dutch wares, and Russian 84 zolotnik and Soviet pieces. Highlighted in this international category is a handcrafted Taxco Mexican sterling pastry server by Bernice Goodspeed, as well as Danish specialty flatware by E. Dragsted, and several novelty pieces form Peru.

The collection features a strong lineup of 20th-century American sterling from well-known silversmiths. Highlighted holloware pieces include a Georgian-style muffineer and a set of mini cordials from Tiffany & Co., a Reed & Barton "Francis I" repousse bonbon bowl, and a Fisher "Alexandria" bread tray, alongside other tableware from Gorham, Towle, Dominick & Haff, Whiting, Lunt, Alvin, and International Silver. The flatware category ranges from dinnerware and souvenir spoons to specialized serving utensils such as a Stieff "Rose" repousse pie server and a Wallace "Lucerne" horseradish spoon. Judaica is also represented by a sterling nine-candle menorah, a presentation bowl, and kiddush cups.

For collectors interested in early American silver, the auction highlights antique American coin silver. A featured lot in this category is an 18th-century pair of brightcut sugar tongs by Philadelphia silversmith Daniel Dupuy, complemented by 19th-century spoons from makers such as William H.J. Read, Christian Smith, and Hall, Hewson, & Brower.

Bringing together early regional coin silver, international pieces, and classic American holloware and flatware, this auction provides options for a variety of collecting categories.
