Bidder acknowledges that this auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. OzarkBid.com, in its sole discretion, may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any items or lots that were affected by any malfunction. The decision of OzarkBid.com is final. PRIVACY: OzarkBid.com gathers information about Bidders and Owner/Sellers for the purposes of conducting online auctions. OzarkBid.com does not sell or rent this information. OzarkBid.com uses electronic mail mailing lists to notify its customers about online and live auctions. If you are receiving a particular mailing and wish to discontinue receiving future mailings, simply forward the received e-mail to OzarkBid.com to have your name promptly removed from our list. BID IS A LEGAL CONTRACT: As a Bidder, placing a bid is a binding contract between you and the Owner/Seller and the bid cannot be retracted. Once you place a bid, and if you win, you will be obligated to buy the product at the said price you indicated as your bid. Placing a bid on this Site, and winning, then not paying for the product is illegal in most states, and prosecution can result. The Owner/Sellers of property sold through this Site reserve the right to reject any and all bids, in their sole discretion. NO WARRANTY ON SITE USAGE: You agree that you will not copy, reproduce, alter, modify, create derivative works, or publicly display any content from the Site without prior, express written permission of OzarkBid.com. THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF TITLE OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE WARRANTIES WHICH ARE IMPOSED BY AND INCAPABLE OF EXCLUSION, RESTRICTION OR MODIFICATION UNDER THE LAWS APPLICABLE TO THIS AGREEMENT. Some states do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state. No legal advice is intended or implied by anything contained within the Site. No obligation, liability, responsibility, accountability or burden is undertaken, assumed or otherwise imposed by maintaining the Site. AUTO EXTEND FEATURE: If an auction receives a bid in the last five minutes, the ending time for that auction will automatically be extended by five minutes. Once five minutes have passed without any bidding, the item will close. This feature prevents "sniping" and allows all bidders an equal opportunity to be the high bidder if they so choose. |

Deer Creek Pawn and Gun Auction
ONLINE AUCTION
Proudly Serving Southwest Missouri Since 1944
Bidding Closes: Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 7:00 PM Central Time
This is a single-consignor firearms auction, 21 lots, consigned to us by Deer Creek Pawn and Gun. It runs the full range from a factory gold-embellished Colt down to honest working guns and a couple of project pieces, and we have cataloged every one of them the same way: markings transcribed off the gun, serial numbers published, and the flaws stated plainly rather than left for you to find after the sale. The headline is Lot 100, a Colt Government Model in 45 ACP built as a factory tribute to Arlington National Cemetery and The Old Guard, essentially new and unfired in its factory case. Behind it are two genuine antiques, a nickel Smith and Wesson 44 Hand Ejector and a 1906 Colt New Army, and a good spread of modern handguns, hunting rifles and military bolt actions. Read the descriptions. Several lots in this sale have real defects and we have said so.
COLLECTOR AND COMMEMORATIVE
LOT 100 is the piece to look at first. It is a Colt Government Model in 45 ACP, serial TOG179, decorated in gold on both sides of the slide with the scenes of an Arlington funeral: the seven-man firing party and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the right, the horse-drawn caisson and the casket team on the left, and the bugler sounding Taps across the top over a banner reading THE OLD GUARD. The hammer, thumb safety, slide stop, magazine release and barrel bushing are all gold plated, the grips carry a blue enamel folded-flag medallion, and the barrel is a National Match barrel. It presents as new and unfired at better than 99 percent, and it comes with the Colt factory case, the manual, the hang tag, the lock, a magazine and a spare pair of checkered walnut grips. The Old Guard is the oldest active-duty infantry regiment in the Army and the unit that stands watch at the Tomb around the clock. Underneath the gold this is a real Colt 1911 with Series 70 lockwork, so it will shoot as well as it displays.
ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE REVOLVERS
LOT 109 is a Smith and Wesson 44 Hand Ejector Second Model in 44 Special on the big N frame, nickel finish, six and a half inch barrel, with the correct checkered walnut stocks and gold medallions. Serial 19868 puts it early in the run, roughly 1917 to 1922. We want to be straight with you about this one: the roll marks are softened and the surface carries a wavy polish, which is what a revolver looks like after it has been buffed and re-nickeled, and we have said so in the lot description rather than letting the bright finish do the talking. It is still a fine 44 Special shooter on one of the best revolver frames ever built. LOT 107 is a Colt New Army and Navy double action in 38, made in 1906, all gray patina with heavy pitting and a rampant colt still visible on the frame. It is a wall piece or a parts gun, and the chambering is not stamped, so read the safety note in that description before you bid. LOT 108 is a Harrington and Richardson Model 676 single action in 22 with a case-hardened frame, and its extractor ratchet is damaged and its magnum cylinder is missing. Both facts are in the description.
MODERN HANDGUNS
Six of them, and they are honestly different from one another. LOT 103 is a Smith and Wesson SD40 VE in 40 S and W, two-tone, a solid working duty pistol. LOT 104 is a Honor Defense Honor Guard in 9mm at 97 to 99 percent, fully ambidextrous and one of the nicest-condition guns in the sale, and also an orphan, because Honor Defense closed its doors in 2019. LOT 105 is a Smith and Wesson Model 422 in 22 Long Rifle whose finish is flaking off to bare metal, which we have photographed and described. LOT 101 is a Taurus G2c in 40 S and W with some surface rust on the bare barrel block. LOT 106 is a Hi-Point CF380 whose slide appears to have been sanded flat on both sides. LOT 102 is a Taurus G2c in 9mm and we are selling it as a gunsmith project and parts pistol, because it has rust on the breech face and down the slide rails and it needs work before anyone fires it.
SINGLE ACTION 22 REVOLVERS
Three Heritage Rough Riders, and they are not the same gun. LOT 110 has a near-new barrel and cylinder with a well-worn frame. LOT 112 is the Miami-marked example, which dates it before 2019, with the shorter handier barrel, the cleanest screw slots of the three and bright orange-red laminate grips. LOT 111 is the most worn of the three and wears imitation pearl grips that are not the factory panels. All three come with one cylinder only, the 22 Long Rifle cylinder, and none of them has a magnum cylinder with it.
CENTERFIRE HUNTING RIFLES
LOT 114 is a Remington Model 700 in 300 Winchester Magnum with a Simmons ProHunter scope mounted and an aftermarket stainless muzzle brake threaded onto the barrel, ready to sight in. LOT 120 is a Remington 700 BDL in 7mm Remington Magnum with a walnut Monte Carlo stock, a Pachmayr White Line pad and a Picatinny rail, and it carries rust at the muzzle, open sight holes in the barrel and a cross-pin through the stock web, all described in detail. LOT 113 is a Savage Model 110E in 270 Winchester on the barrel-nut action, with scope bases but no rings and no scope, and rust visible in the bore at the muzzle. On all three, read the condition report before you decide what to bid.
SPORTERIZED MILITARY RIFLES
LOT 119 is the one to look at. It is a Swedish Mauser m/96 built at Carl Gustafs in 1918, restocked in figured walnut and fitted with a Lyman 57SMF micrometer receiver sight with both knobs present and a Redfield ramp front sight. The bolt handle work is competent gunsmith work, not amateur, and the Swedes are widely regarded as the best-made military Mausers ever produced. Its bolt does not match the receiver and we have said so. LOT 118 is a 1945 Long Branch Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I star with a matching bolt, sporterized, with no sights of any kind fitted. LOT 117 is a 1915 Oviedo Spanish Mauser with a crisp intact receiver crest, restocked in an E. C. Bishop blank from Warsaw, Missouri, with a cracked stock at the tang and four different part numbers. All three are honest project and shooter guns and all three are described as such.
SHOTGUNS
LOT 115 is a New England Firearms Pardner single shot in 12 gauge with a 3 inch chamber and a fixed Modified choke, and at 93 to 95 percent barrel blue and 85 to 90 percent frame case color it is the best-condition gun in this sale outside of Lot 100. LOT 116 is an Ithaca hammerless boxlock double, an early one, and it needs a careful read: the stock is cracked through the head on both sides with no repair attempted, the serial is on the watertable under the barrels and has not yet been recorded, and the gauge is not marked. It is offered as a display piece and it is not represented as safe to fire.
A NOTE ON HOW THESE WERE CATALOGED
Every lot in this sale was written from the photographs, marking by marking. Where a serial could not be read, we said so instead of guessing. Where a stock is cracked, a ratchet is damaged, a barrel has been cut or a finish looks like a refinish, we put it in the description. Where no bore photograph was taken, we did not make a claim about the bore. If something in a description is not clear, call before the auction closes and we will go look at the gun for you.
FIREARMS TRANSFER INFORMATION
Deer Creek Pawn and Gun LLC will handle all transfers and FFL business on the firearms in this auction. All firearm transfers will be completed through a licensed FFL dealer. Buyer is responsible for all transfer fees and must pass all required background checks. Bidder eligibility is the sole responsibility of the bidder. Firearms that are mailed are subject to shipping cost plus a $15 FFL handling fee.
