Because the space in which everything is displayed is limited, we will be hosting small groups. Please respect the time you are assigned. We keep a list of invitees and pay close attention. If your appointment is for one person, it is for one. If the appointment is for two people, you are two. An invitation does not mean the entire family can come. You will simply be turned away at the door. Thank you in advance for respecting our approach; as those of you shop with us regularly know, it makes the shopping experience better for everyone! 

Now on to this fantastic sale! Why get on a plane, fly 11 hours, deal with EES entry and exit systems just to go to France and shop the antique shops and flea markets? A private, beautifully curated experience is right here in Newport Beach.

This week, Friday and Saturday (October 2-3) from 10-2 we will be ready to have you shop this gorgeous sale. This estate is sure to please..a lifetime collection of treasures, including French, Asian, Chinese, Japanese, art, fine art, porcelain, china, exquisite hand made linens, and everything else. A large Dover Shores home with a spectacular view of the bay, loads of collections and treasures for your perusal and a terrific experience seeing items you would rarely see.

We have been organizing and will conduct the sale as follows:

Since there is a family member still in the home, in order to protect privacy, we have decided to centralize the sale in the living/dining room area...there will also be a hutch filled with gorgeous French and leather bound books. In the entry, items will also be for sale and at the top of the stairs a beautiful French armoire...Be aware that other rooms will be taped off to secure family and personal items. We will likely conduct at part 1 estate sale this week (Friday and Saturday) and a part 2 somewhere down the line.

Here is a partial list of the wonderful available items: beautiful French linens and table linens, French ceramics, a collection of hard stone elephants, Asian objects and decorative arts, paintings, water colors, an entire service of incised Saint Louis stemware, china, porcelain, gorgeous carved gilt wood mirror, figural coffee table, MCM Italian sofa by Cassina, carved side chairs, hutches, buffets, deck chair, and more. An 18th c trunk in the entry that will take your breath away...another painted, carved trunk, a large grandfather clock, wicker chaise, highly carved chairs, pairs and singles, a glass top iron dining table, many c 1900 hutches and cabinets, bookcases, side tables, important copper pots and basins that fit well any decorating scheme... Many rugs of all sizes, side rugs, runners, area rugs...Caucasian, Bokhara, Turkmen ... various color schemes and sizes and prices for every budget. You will feel like you are perusing through an antique shop in the 6ème Arrondisement in Paris (only not paying the French prices or import duty.)

Since our space is limited, we will have small groups at a time which ensures a pleasant shopping experience for everyone. Once escrow closes and the family members have moved out, we can focus on the rest of the house for part 2 of the estate sale.

As always, we are by appointment only which means we will follow our usual procedure:

2) Do not text or call asking about the sale or requesting an appointment. We do not organize that way and going forward phone calls and texts to the business phone will not be answered and will be blocked (which means you will miss out on future sales.) 

3) Once you email your request, we organize appointments and will email your appointment day/time by 9 pm the evening before your appointment.
