Listing Information
1942 Packard Restoration Project / Parts Car From the Estate of Roger Anderson Roger Anderson was well known in the local automotive community as a man who had a passion for restoring classic automobiles. Over the years, Roger worked on many great American classics, including Lincolns, Buicks, Chevrolets, and Fords from the 1930s and 1940s, along with Corvettes and Thunderbirds from the 1950s. Before Roger suddenly became ill and passed away, he had begun restoration work on this 1942 Packard. Unfortunately, he was unable to complete the project, and the Packard is now being offered at auction to someone who may be able to continue the restoration, use it as a donor car, or make use of its many components. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This vehicle is being sold and represented as a PARTS CAR / INCOMPLETE RESTORATION PROJECT. The family cannot confirm exactly which parts are present, which parts may be missing, or the extent of the restoration work Roger had already completed. The photographs show the vehicle and the parts that have been located. Some components appear to have already received restoration work. Bidders should carefully review ALL photographs and bid based upon their own inspection and evaluation of the vehicle and included parts. No representation or guarantee is being made that the car is complete or that every component necessary to complete the restoration is included. This could be an interesting opportunity for a Packard collector, restorer, or someone searching for difficult-to-find original Packard components.
