Historical Collection of Freeport, Pennsylvania

Online Auction

Bidding Ends: Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM with a 20 Sec. Soft Close.

To Bid: turnkeyliquidators.hibid.com

This week’s auction is more than a sale of historic objects: it is an opportunity to carry Freeport’s stories forward. Freeport Pennsylvania’s rich history extends well beyond its founding in 1833. Lifelong resident Gordon Breneman, now 84, has devoted much of his life to collecting artifacts, memorabilia, and other items that connect the town’s past with its present. He purchased the 144-year-old Episcopal Church on High St. in Freeport, many years ago, to display his extensive collection and has now decided to part with it. From photographs and postcards to the tools of everyday life, these objects offer a tangible connection to the community’s shared history. As the collection passes into new hands, its significance lies not only in what each piece is, but in the stories it can continue to tell.
