PROVENANCE

The owners of the estate were a military family and the husband served in the Air Force for thirty years. He met his wife when he was stationed in Germany in 1949 as the wife was a German citizen. They traveled to the United States in 1951 and raised a family with four daughters. Some of the items in the home originated from Germany. The family was also stationed in Turkey for 18 months in the early 1970’s and several items in the home come from Turkey. The wife was extremely crafty and knitted,
sewed and gardened as she raised her family. The husband also shared her love of gardening and serving at his church doing repairs.
