The September 1st estate sale features items from a home located in Grosse Pointe Woods. The house itself is situated in a quiet neighborhood and is a 5 minute drive from Lake St Clair.

This sale features over 125 lots with no reserves, spanning more than 10 categories. There are many noteworthy items beginning with the furniture category including a twin mattress with box spring and wooden bed frame, Lane cedar chest, mid-century dresser, Drexel love seat and sofa, Thomasville sofa, four-drawer wooden chest and black computer chair. There are also varied tables, chairs, nightstands, end tables and cabinets.

Kitchenware lots are separated by cabinet contents. One cabinet includes bake ware, another glass cups and others with cookware. Each cabinet lot includes several pieces; make sure to inspect all contents before bidding!

Appliances is a small category with a GE washer and dryer, Emerson counter top microwave, Panasonic and Dirt Devil vacuums, and one lot of vintage appliances and glassware. The washer and dryer are listed as separate lots, both have been tested and work.  The units are used but appear to be relatively clean. Please note that tools must be brought in order to disconnect the dryer.

At the top of the eletronics category is an LG 24" HDTV with remote and has been tested and is in working order. There is a plethora of media center and home office electronics. Media center electronics are primarily Fisher brand containing Fisher MT720, Direct drive turn table, Fisher integrated Amp, Fisher AM/FM stereo tuner, Fisher double cassette deck, and 2 Fisher speakers. Most of the electronic products have been tested, but make sure to inspect in person before bidding. Electronics for the home office include a Dell Inspiron computer with Intel Core Quad running Windows 7. Please note that the computer will have the hard drive pulled. There is also an HP 19" monitor, Dell speakers, Epson scanner, and Epson Photo R300 Printer. The last lot is an assortment of DVDs and VHS's including a season of Everybody Loves Raymond and Snow White.

22 lots are listed in the tools category composed of power tools, tool boxes, electric supplies and wires, ladders, car ramps and multiple lots of miscellaneous tools. There is a Craftsman 5" bench grinder and two Craftsman table saws. You can also find casters, door knobs, hardware including screws, nails, wrenches and socket sets in the other tool lots.

Vintage and Antiques includes a wooden desk with working light and vintage Brunswick Anatrope wood cabinet. A fun piece in this group is a vintage steamer truck. A picture of this lot show a pirates hat and red tutu among the contents.

The decor category offers a pattered red rug measuring 12' x 9' ideal for a large living space. There are also two framed landscape paintings, one is signed by the artist.

Glassware includes a 12 piece set of Fire King oven ware, Johnson Brothers ironstone 3 tier serving dish and a lot of 2 ceramic teapots. There are other items in this category such as coasters, various glassware and a vintage GE radio.

The book category is primarily novels, 26 by Danielle Steel, 16 by James Patterson, 15 by John Grisham and a separate lot of various fiction and non-fiction books.

Collectibles include a shelf full of David Winter Cottages from Enesco Collectibles. Note that some boxes are empty and some figurines are loose.

Lastly are categories with few lots.

A notable item in Miscellaneous includes a set of designer handbags, one of which is Louis Vuitton.

There is one item in sporting goods, a Pro-Form GR 80 stationary bike.

Medical aids has a walker, shower chair and medical toilet.

Lighting includes several vintage table lamps.

Jewelry includes one box of varied fashion jewelry.
