A FAMILY ESTATE SALE will be having a wonderful sale in Rockwall, TX, starting Thursday, January 31st and ending Sunday, February 3rd. This sale has some very exotic and unusual pieces of furniture. Owner was from England originally and lived in Spain prior to moving to Rockwall 7 years ago. Much of the clothing, FURS, and furnishings were purchased abroad and shipped here. While her style was quite elegant, she had a good eye when purchasing quality and eye catching items. The gold beveled mirror above the fireplace is over 7 feet tall and 47 inches wide! The ornate inlaid bombe chests, desks and tall chests in bedrooms are just beautiful. All the furniture looks brand new and in perfect condition. There's not a lot of smalls except in costume jewelry--loads of that! Beautiful long cocktail dresses, short party clothes, vintage bell-bottoms (only from London), colorful purses, shoes and hats. The furs are many and varied. Some are faux, some are real, good condition and not so good! Very interesting collection.
