Our Services include Estate Sales, Moving, Downsizing and Entering a Nursing Home Sales.
Estate Thing 1 and Estate Thing 2 have many things to do when setting up a sale.
With Estate Thing 3 and Estate Thing 4 we open every door to find the treasures in the house and they deal with the occasional mouse.
We organize and stage every room, we make things sparkle and know how to use a broom.
Need everything gone we will get it done. What doesn't get sold can still be gold.
We will bag it and give you a list of donations which when tax time comes will relieve some frustrations.

Estate Things is a family run business that has been conducting estate sales in the Northwest Suburbs and Chicago for 15 years. What started with collecting antiques, going to auctions and estate sales developed into the estate sale business. Our experience provides us with the knowledge and ability to properly stage and price a sale.
STAGING: We display and lightly clean your items to maximize sales. Proper set up and display is critical when you are trying to sell a lifetime of treasures in a couple of days.
PRICING: Our goal is to sell it all at the best price. We have a short time in which to sell the contents and pricing plays a critical role in the success of the sale. Our knowledge of retail, internet, auction, weekend shows and local pricing allows us to set the proper price. If we don't have immediate knowledge on the value of an item we research the item. We will use an Appraiser when needed.
ADVERTISING: Making people aware of the sale is critical. We contact dealers, prior sale customers and store owners in addition to advertising on the internet, social media and email advertising.
CLEAN OUT AFTER THE SALE: We offer a complete clean out of what doesn't sell and provide you with a list of the donated items and the donation receipts.
Estate Things welcomes the opportunity to meet with you regarding your estate sale needs.
