The Ovid Historical Society is raising money for the maintenance and restoration of an Itailian home in downtown Ovid. The home was built in 1816 and donated to the Ovid Historical Society by Mary Myers. Ms. Myers was a school teacher in Detroit who moved to Ovid with her Aunt years ago. Approx. 6-7 pieces of artwork have been donated by local artist Sue Monroe to be sold at auction with proceeds going for maintenance and restoration of the Italian home.
