The Maclay family has lived in this home for 90 years. They were not packrats by any means, but still amassed an interesting collection of things over those decades. Then to round things out, a friend of the family asked to input some stored items - so we have the OLD, the VERY OLD, and the NOT VERY OLD - now it's a full house! ANTIQUES, ephemera including Wartime letters (son was a POW), WW II uniforms, Hooker folding flip table, Hekman tables, books, Highland Park H.S. and SMU yearbooks. Robert Noel kilim bench, antique Presbyterian minister's desk (over 100 years old), crazy quilts, ornate parlor sofa, cutest ever child size parlor settee & chair, French vitrine cabinet, Palecek rattan chairs, Wedgwood "Potpourri" and Spode "Rosebud Chintz" china, XL Total Gym equipment, catering equipment includes a drink cooler and a zip-up carrier for trays of hot foods, oil paintings by listed Texas artists (Virginia Betts and Ira McDade) and other wall art. Small Sentry safe. Collectibles. Umbrella stand. 1920's dining table, plus buffet & server. Wagner Drip Drop skillet. Full size bed. Young ladies clothing - wonderful shoes in about size 9.
