Estate Sale – “North Lake Highlands” Dallas

Antiques, Books, CD’s, Clothing, Electronics, Exercise, Furniture,
Jewelry, Hospital Bed, Office, Victrola, & Vinyl Records (78 RPM)

  This week we have a very interesting Estate Sale in the Woodbridge neighborhood of North Lake Highlands in Dallas.  The sale is packed with a mix of vintage to current items.  We have clothing for women (Medium to 4X), shoes (7 ½ to 10) and purses.  We have a very wide assortment of jewelry; some gold, some sterling silver, some designer, and some costume jewelry.  (Note: The sequential numbers distributed to customers waiting to enter will also be used for personalized service at the jewelry table.)  We have vintage Victrolas (they work), a fantastic deluxe hospital bed, bedroom furniture, and an awesome washer and gas dryer set by LG with drawer bases.  We also have lots of kitchen items, small appliances, and a great assortment of knick-knacks.  Come early for best selection.  We will limit the number of folks in the house, and we’ll distribute sequential numbers to those who are waiting to enter.  Thank you for your patience!

  Entry / Dining Room / Checkout Area – features a great half circle entry table made of wrought iron with a beveled glass top.  It has two identical lamps (BNI) with grapes on the shades.  They are very nice.  We also have some nice oversized hand fans with unique designs on each side, and a great floral arrangement.  There is a nice Ethan Allen two piece lighted hutch.  This hutch is in great condition and has wood shelves with plate grooves and glass inserts.  Inside the hutch we have some Johnson Brothers “Windsor Ware” plates made in England (Hand Engraving).  We have another Johnson Brothers plate: Thanksgiving, Historic America from England.  We have a set of Langley Dishes Made in England.  There are also two oval plates called “Game Birds” a hand engraving made in England by Johnson Brothers called “Woodcock.”  We have two vintage 1950’s Flamingos (one small and one medium).  We have a nice James Dean hard covered book and a James Dean doll still in original packaging.  We have a vintage Gimbal Maritime box compass by PEEL Street Company and assorted eye glasses.  Some are vintage.
The jewelry corner at checkout is loaded with interesting jewelry including sterling silver - some by designers like: L/L Dickson, Ivana Trump, Melanin Trump, Adrienne, Jewelry TV, Lauren G. Adams, Technibond and Rebecca.  We also have some pearls and lots of sterling silver (.925) pieces including earrings, rings, bracelets, pins, pendants and necklaces.  There are also some stone necklaces in many colors of Jasper and other hand painted and hand-made items.  If have some gold jewelry (mostly rings), and we have an assortment of costume jewelry including necklaces, pins, bracelets, and earrings.  We have a nice collection of stamps (in binders), coins, vintage and current perfumes and colognes (mostly partial bottles).  In addition we have a larger glass case full of small collectables such as: boxes, pens, quill pens, (and lots of quill feathers), pocket knives, vintage compacts and small boxes.  We have some Limoges including glass and crystal perfume bottles.  Prepare to wait a few minutes for personalized service in the jewelry area or to inspect items in the large case while we wait on one person at a time.
We have two large vintage floor Victrolas and one tabletop unit with large speaker horn.  We have lots of great 78 RPM records.  We have an interesting Asian style log buffet with nice brass handles on the drawers.  You will notice an Asian flair when it comes to dishes and accent pieces.  Come early for the best selection.

  Livingroom – features Mango Grove Entertainment and Storage Drawer Chest.  We have assorted Bibles, a nice 6’ x 9’ wool rug (cleaned) with fringe on the ends.  The dominant color is navy blue.  There is a nice push back recliner in a multi-colored beige pattern.  We have a nice beige bench and a small wood tray with pearled insets.  There is a two piece (they hook together) modern lounger / “L” couch in beige and dark brown.  Each section has four large pillows, and the two sections will be sold together.  Then there is a large square dark brown covered Ottoman / Table (sold separately).  We have a nice square beveled glass side table with gold tone legs.  We have a Basset solid wood Book shelf in great condition. We have some very interesting books and coffee table books.  How about a large vintage “Far East” silk screen mounted in a large gold carved frame?  The silk screen is comprised of shades of browns and beige with seven dancers among trees.  We have an unusually nice Geisha Wig with head and carrying case.  This Wig comes with more hair accents and a red hair comb.
We have two Dell Monitors and a keyboard.  There is also a Ativa LD 800 Shredder, a MacBook Case and a New National Geographic Telescope in original box. We have an Epson color printer.  There is a pair of Pioneer speakers, and a Sony Time Link Digital Delayed Dolby Surround Audio/Video Control Center.  We also have a Kenwood Direct Drive Full Automatic Turntable, model; KD-78F.  There is a new in the box Semper Radio Alarm Clock and an Envision 32” LCD 1080i (HDMI) Flat screen HD TV with remote.  There is a MacBook Pro laptop “Core 2 Duo” with 250 GB HDD, 4 GB RAM and 256 MB with an 8x DL “Super Drive”.  There is also a Toshiba Satellite laptop; Model L305D Windows 10 professional.  The Toshiba Laptop also has a 64 bit TL60 2 GHz CPU, 4.0 GB Ram, Ethernet port, Wireless card and a Webcam.  It has a 250 GB Hard drive.  We have a nice entry chest with four drawers for storage and two matching wood rectangle stools.  There are two Orchard Floral Plants with nice pots.  One has yellow orchards, and the other has white Orchards.  We have CD’s and DVD’s.  Some are multiple disk sets.  We have a nice gold framed painting of women with a little girl; this painting comes with an overhead light.  There is a nice framed Secret Gardens print by Lena Liu.  We have a head sculpture of Michael Angelo’s David and a head sculpture of Pythagoras.  At least we think it’s of him.  We have lots of interesting knick-knacks in this room, so come early for the best selection.

  Family Room / Bar Area – features a nice couch and loveseat that match (priced separately) and wooden coffee table with drawer.  We have a great fold-down desk.  It’s two pieces, and it has a small double shelf that sits on top.  The desk holds lots of office items.  We have a great Floor Lamp with three adjustable lights and shades (BNI).  We have a very nice arm chair with matching ottoman.  The arm chair has wooden arms and frame.  The ottoman also has a nice wooden frame.  This two piece unit has a floral pattern in browns and peach making a nice addition to your home.  For those who like the vintage look we have a great Victorian style Fainting Chase / Couch in Red with roll pillow.  It’s in great condition.  We also have a six-sided small vintage wooden table.  There is also a nice small foot stool covered in leather with claw feet.  We have two six-sided wooden end tables. Each has two doors that open for storage.  There are some Knick-knacks and floral arrangements along with a few pictures.  A glass door leads to the Atrium where we have live plants and succulents.  Most of the plants are in very nice pots.  There are also various black metal plant stands, small tables, a tiered stand, a table shaped like a cart, and single and double shelf stands as well.   The bar area is home to assorted glasses (including shot glasses).  We have a small floral arrangement and two nice Seltzer Bottles.  One bottle is a vintage green bottle and the other is a clear bottle covered with wire mess.  We also have coasters, assorted brandy, wine, and champagne as well as highball glasses.  We also have some nice throw pillows and candles along with some picture frames.

  Kitchen – features some nice items for the stove top including iron skillets and some great oven-safe dishes.  We have bowls, chicken items and some large Pyrex casserole dishes.  We have some canning jars and interesting smaller bottles and bowls.  There is a nice lettuce spinner, and filtered water pitchers.  If you like shabby chic, you will love the small “what-not” shelf and its collection of chickens.  We have some vintage pitchers, bowls, glasses and plates.  If you are into collecting one of a kind glasses and plates, we have and area in the kitchen reserved for you.  There is an abundance of small appliances such as: Cuisinart oval slow cooker, a Cuisinart coffee maker, a Hamilton Beach food processor, an Aroma stainless coffee maker, a Hamilton Beach Serve ‘N Set (electric knife and serving fork) in original storage container, Cuisinart Toaster Oven, Dash Hot – Steam, Small Chopper, Small Hot Plate, Hamilton Beach Round Slow Cooker, Slicer Ribbon Cut, Power Cooker; Cook Slow, Steam, Pressure, etc., Sunbeam Water Purifier, Osterizer 10 Speed Blender, Rival Hand Mixer, West Bend Can Opener, a VitaMix 3600 in great condition, and a Bella Kitchen Rocket Blender – Personal Size.  There are measuring cups, and lots of different size pourers, juicers, butter dishes, lots of interesting utensils and gadgets (some like new).  We also have a Presto Power Pop which you fill and use in the Microwave.  There is a stainless canister set, lots of bowls, assorted cups, Flatware sets and three different containers that hold spatulas, mixers, servers, fry spatulas, and much more.  Come early for the best selection.

  Eating Area – features a nice oval table with one large leaf.  It has four chairs that are on casters with black ascent.  We have a lot of different size Asian bowls (small to large) in assorted colors.  We have a vintage Sharp microwave carousel oven that works great and is sitting on a nice two-door storage unit.  We have some succulent plants on the window sill.  The built in hutch/buffet holds a lot of interesting and unique serving items, bowls, plates, platters, and dishes for the kitchen.  We have a nice chicken theme going as well.  The table holds lots of dishes including two sets of Mikasa dishes.  One set is a pattern of Intaglio CAC20 Annette and the other larger set is Heritage CA804 Orchard Odyssey.  We have a plate and bowl set by Pioneer Woman.

  Pantry & Laundry Room – features a Red LG True Steam Washer and a Red LG Ture Steam Gas Dryer.  Both are sitting on White Drawers that come with the units.  We have two different types of Ironing boards.  In the pantry we have some food that is new (not opened).  We have some cleaning products (more in the garage), and some baking items, muffins, cookie, and cake pans.  There are some racks with legs, trays, a basket, cook books, napkins, dryer mats, tea, and some vintage pans.  There are stainless mixing bowls, trash containers, Styrofoam plates, and cups, Vintage juicer, Roasting pans with covers and more.  We also have a vintage National Pressure Cooker (Wisc.) and a vintage Fry Pan with gauges in the cover. 

  Double Garage – features a dresser with mirror, some practical hand tools, and two square wooden end tables.  We have a nice adjustable easel, assorted picture frames and a small tool chest.  The main carpeted table has hand tools, a tool box, Oster clipper, gloves, cleaning brushes, and a lamp without shade.  There are so many items on this large surface you are likely to find many useful items.  We have a very nice metal four prong plant hanger on a stand.  There are two nice outdoor patio chairs with matching ottomans along with outdoor pillows.  We also have a small round table.  If you are looking for pots, we have a lot from small to very large ceramic.  Come early for the best selection.  We have a “farmers table” with drawer in good condition and a small metal shelf, some small step stools, and a six foot aluminum ladder.  There is a nice assortment of collectable wooden boxes, vintage suitcases, and a small two drawer chest.  There is also a nice floor lamp with shade (BNI) and a metal table with a nice Cherub lamp with shade (BNI).  On top of the dresser there are many types of electric fans including some vintage.  We also have a vintage metal milk bottle case, some plastic storage bowls with covers, and some smaller exercise equipment / helpers (mostly hand held items).  There is also a larger gray shower chair, adjustable canes, and a “getting out of bed” helper that attaches to a bed.  Look behind the garage entrance door for cleaning helpers and solutions.

Here is more info on the High End - Hospital Bed (used 4 months):
Encore Model Bed by Span America.  This bed has ALL the functions of high-end hospital bed; such as Up and Down plus Head and feet adjustment, the entire bed can also tilt to relieve pressure or change gravity for the patient.  The bed comes with two custom-made fitted sheets along with lots of other items.  This bed is in “Like New” condition as it was only used for four months.  This smart mattress recognizes the pressure points of the patient and will adjust or inflate/deflate to keep skin from breaking down.  The Homeowners purchased this bed for their mothers’ comfort while on hospice care and it was amazing!  Note: This is the same bed they use at “CC Young Rehab” for their patients and this bed was purchased directly from the manufacturer with CC Young’s’ assistance.  Here is the website: http://www.spanamerica.com/ccc.php which has more info on the mattress function and the pressure guard custom care.  Note:  the bed frame/function is the Span America Encore model.  The asking price is $4,500 with No Discounts.  The original cost was $8,600.  Please Do Not Sit on Bed.  Only for seriously interested customers will we plug in the bed to demo the features.”  Please ask for Help! - Thank you!

  Corner Bedroom – features some pictures on the walls and a nice bedroom set.  The bedroom set is made by Johnson – Handley – Johnson of Grand Rapids Michigan.  There are two end tables and a full headboard & footboard with wood rails.  We have a nice full mattress & box spring.  The chest of drawers is in excellent condition with a total of five drawers.  The dresser is a smaller size with three drawers.  There is a nice mirror on the wall that is modern and frameless.  We have two different pairs of lamps with shades (BNI) and a nice extension table / desk lamp with shade (BNI).  There are lots of table linens on the bed in the boxes.  We also have lots of bed pillows and some very nice vintage knick-knacks.  There are also photo albums and vintage perfume trays along with a mirror and nice frames.  There is a small area of baby and children’s items as well.  Come early for the best selection.

  Master Bedroom – features a very nice Queen tall headboard & footboard from Mango Grove including the wood rails and a platform.  All you need to add is your own mattress.  There are also two matching night stands with drawers making great storage.  We have two matching Lamps with shades (BNI) and some interesting knick-knacks.  We have a nice Kenmore Ultra Stitch 12 sewing machine in a nice wood cabinet with attachments.  There is also another wood headboard on another wall in this room.  We have bedding for a Full, Queen and King beds.  There is a nice wingback chair, ottoman and foot stool with matching striped fabric.  We also have a round vintage Oak table and a nice lamp with shade (BNI).  We have some toiletries and vanity items including a hair dryer, curling irons, jewelry cleaners, a lighted magnifying mirror, and wig stand w/wig.  We have some nice bar soaps and an electric tooth brush.  There are two rugs.  One is a small area rug, and the other is more like a small runner.  There is a nice jewelry box with a flip open top revealing a mirror along with a heavy duty wood valet.  We also have another sewing machine in a wood cabinet: a Singer sewing machine; model # AH602872.  It seems to be in excellent condition.  We also have some purses, throws, gift bags, and small bathroom/entry rugs.  If you are looking for sewing notions and craft items, there are lots, and most are in small bags that are individually priced.  This room is crammed full of interesting items, so come early for the best selection.
