Listing Information

We find ourselves in Forest Hills for this sale and what a house it is.   Not only is it spacious, it’s open and sparkling clean, as are the treasures inside.

If furniture is what you are needing, you can stop looking.  From Mahogany bedrooms to comfy overstuffed chairs to glass topped coffee and end tables.  There is something to suite anyone’s taste.  Beautiful pieces by such manufacturers as Bassett, Flexsteel, Hooker and Haverty’s.  Upgrade your office with a desk and the 2 matching shelving units by Whalen.  Who deserves it more than you? A selection of small jewelry chests make great gifts and we have the one for you.  There are sofas, a love seat, tables that are round, tables that are square, short and tall, wood and glass, just a great assortment.  We have entertainment centers, decorative shelving units, we even have curio cabinets by Horchow that hang on the wall.

This home has many beautiful decorative items.  There is art glass made in the Czech Republic by the Countess Collection; an assortment of Lenox pieces, Unikat Handmade Polish pottery by artist M. Starzyk, large Capodimonte pieces and Fine Porcelain Collector Dolls by Marie Osmond.  You’ll find Longaberger baskets and whimsical, colorful fireplace screens.

Home of a career soldier, there is a large selection of vintage items.  Camo and khaki, not just fatigues, but the accessories, too.  From the days at the United States Military Academy (USMA), there is a Cadet Lieutenant uniform along with a fabulous blue/gray wool cape coat!  There are jackets with “Airborne” patches and jackets with “ARMY” emblazoned on the front.

Electronic items around the house are by such maker’s as Bose, Toshiba, Sony, Samsung and RCA.  There is a Playstation, too.  You can also find an assortment of games!  For the photographer, check out the Canon EOS Rebel T2.1, complete with lens.  There is also a 75-300m zoom lens available.  Wow, did you see the DLP projector?

How about sprucing up your home with some new art pieces?  There are originals, lithography and prints; but don’t overlook the metal and mirrored pieces that would be awesome in any house.  Did you see the Adel Ghabour Papyrus pieces of King Tut and Nefertiti?  So beautiful and colorful, you just can’t take your eyes off of them.

Not only is there a Playstation, other fun stuff includes tea sets for your little one’s tea party.  Pick up a dressing table or rocking chair (both doll size) for that special child in your life.

You will find a great selection of small appliances in the kitchen.  Such names as KitchenAid, Wolfgang Puck, T-Fal and Braun, just to name a few.  Mikasa serving pieces are there among the china.  There is Royal Cuthbertson, a tea set by Classis Royal Albert in the Old Country Rose pattern and some Bordallo Pinheiro plates.  If you are searching for Amber colored glassware you can find a couple of set waiting to go home with you.  Utensils, cutlery, assorted kitchen ware, just about anything you can think of just very well may be right here.

The garage at this home holds much more than just tools.  Equipment for outdoor activities are here, too.  Snorkling gear, wetsuits, golf clubs, boxing gloves and bicycles.  Oh, yeah!  Wonderful mountain bikes live here along with some of their accessories.  Trek 2200, Maxxis and Giant are waiting for their new home.  Of course there is an assortment of yard tools, even snow shovels, along with a Ryobi Circular saw, a large Brinkman gas grill and a portable, red Coleman grill on wheels!  What will they think of next???

This is a sprawling home with a lot of rooms.  Dig out your most comfortable shoes, we don’t care what they look like and come see for yourself what the wonderful home has to offer!  See ya Friday!
