We’re baaaaaack!!!!!  Boy, are we ever!  We have a house that is worth the wait.  This Lake Highlands 2-story home is so full you’ll need to walk it several times.  Honestly, from office supplies to bicycles, there is a treasure hidden in every nook and cranny of this wonderful home. 

The home is filled with some truly amazing things.  Among them are “collections” of various types: beautiful milk glass, Ruby Red, Hopalong Cassidy coffee cups, old bottles, all things “apple”, wonderful depression glass pieces and the list goes on.  The items you don’t see very often are the fantastic celluloid pieces.  This home has an assortment you will not believe!  You just need to see them for yourself.  And don’t miss the great selection of vintage lady’s hat pins!  The hearth is home to some great brass items, including an antique bed warmer.   You may want to visit the kitchen for more collectables.  Such as the sets of Depression glass.  We have ‘em in pink and green.  Great assortment of pieces.  Replacement pieces or starting your collection, this is the place to look  Same goes for the forest green Fostoria!   

The furniture offered ranges from Early American to French Provincial to Modern and everything in between.  In just the dining area alone you can find an antique barrel washer (No, you don’t wash your barrels with it!) an antique drop-front buffet, an Early American Sideboard and a beautiful china cabinet filled with Milk glass, decoratives and a collection of Gorham commemorative plates from the Southern Landmark Series.  Here is where you will also find an Early Century Scale. There are desks, bookcases and a great assortment of tables: drop-leaf coffee table, 2-tiered carved round side/occasional table and dining tables.  Sofas and side chairs, lamps of every shape and size and a fabulous French Provincial bedroom set.  There is a wonderful set of wrought iron patio furniture with 4 matching rocking chairs! 

In the “entertainment” category there is a Jason Star Search Telescope, records including a selection of 78’s, board games include Little House on the Prairie and Monopoly, Ping Pong accessories, Shakepeare Parabow Archery set.  Vintage toys include wooden blocks, a view master and some great antique dolls.  In the garage we have Free Spirit bicycles, a boy’s bike and a girl’s bike.  For the artsy-crafty folks, there is a great assortment of craft items, silk flowers, ribbon, etc.  For the seamstress we have vintage sewing patterns for all the big names: Butterick, McCall’s, Simplicity and Vogue.  Be sure to check out the “Sally Stitch” Push-button dress form.  It’s like new!  Of course, the Thomas A. Edison brand Gramophone is not new, but it is an awesome antique.  There are also some musical cylindars!

You will find books in every room!  Fiction, non-fiction, reference, you name it!  There is also a great selection of vintage magazines and newspapers.

The garage is over-flowing with surprises.  Of course we have the standard garage finds, but the extras are great.  For instance there is a “little red wagon” called the Dixie Flyer, a wonderful assortment of tobacco tins: Peper’s Pouch Mixture, a precious wooden doll house and you can’t miss the great Farrand & Votey pump organ!  And then there’s a shed……….it is so packed!  Just wait ‘til you see what’s inside.

This is really a wonderful sale with such a vast assortment of treasures.  It will be a fun sale, especially if you are there!
