Listing Information
We had so much fun in Lake Highlands last week, we’re going to be back this week! This home is filled with Primitive, Antique and Modern treasures. From yard tools to kitchen items, you will find some really awesome items. There’s even an autographed photo of the great comedienne Phyllis Diller! Antique furniture offerings include a Burl wood armoire and rocker, brass bed, Mahogany high-boy, an East Lake chair with needlepoint seat, a painted East Lake 4-drawer chest and a wrought iron bench. You will also find a vintage sectional sofa, barstools with leather seats, Mahogany buffet, needlepoint card tables and an oval glass top brass coffee table. There is also a wonderful Primitive, hand carved full-size post bed. The antique and vintage items are not limited to furniture. There is antique etched depression glass, oil lamps, butter molds and Early American stoneware. There is also a couple of wonderful antique butter churns and an antler carving set. There is a set of vintage Pyrex Amish Butterprint nesting bowls, Tonala pottery and vintage green glass vases. There is also a selection of antique quilts. Also in the kitchen you will find pots and pans, small appliances, white porcelain cookware and serving pieces, utensils, cut glass and crystal, china made in England by Copeland in the “Buttercup” pattern and you will just fall in love with the precious “honey jar” with a bear on top! We also have “collections” of sea shells, glass pitchers, needlepoint kits, perfume bottles, milk bottles and salesman samples of antique cast irons. We also have some hard to find mercury glass candle sticks and lamps. There is a great selection of board games and puzzles. Have these on hand for those rainy afternoons when the kids are bored and “don’t have anything to do”. Vintage items around the house include Christmas decorations, a slide projector, children’s blocks, a Pioneer receiver, a Technics turntable and a reversible ladies coat just to mention a few. For the seamstress there is a great Viking Husqvarna sewing machine. The sportsperson in your life would love to have on their wall a mounted Peacock Bass or the river monster Piranha! With summer just around the corner, you may need a vintage tractor water sprinkler, yard art or a wrought iron patio set. Spruce up your backyard and be the envy of your neighbors!
