Maine Country Antiques is proud to present the estate of Walter (Chuck) Kilb who has lived in York Maine for the last 20+ years. He was a Vietnam war veteran, having served multiple tours. He earned a National Defense Services Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 stars, the Vietnam Campaign medal and the Parachutist Badge.

Chuck was a successful and accomplished chef, running many kitchens and catering locations throughout New York and Maine. His latest accomplishment was the Shore Market and Restaurant on Shore Rd. in York, Maine.

He was an avid hunter and loved to go antiquing! Chuck was known at the local auction houses and was a serious collector of war memorabilia. Prior to moving to Maine, he was a volunteer firefighter, which you can tell by his collection of firefighting items.
