Featured in this sale: Framed decorative wall art & Classic rock posters!

Some of the specific items that you will find in this sale are:

Bal Negre - This poster is titled "Bal Negre" by French poster artist Paul Colin (1892-1985). He designed the Art Deco poster for Josephine Baker’s La Revue Nègre, which introduced jazz music and dance to Paris. Colin was hired by the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and designed 1,900 posters. He created posters for theaters, art, dance, advertisements, and more.

The poster features a couple dancing - the man in a tuxedo and the woman in a grass skirt.

This is a nice addition to any art lover’s collection and comes in a beautiful frame. The frame has a small chip/crack on one corner, which is pictured. The poster including frame measures 50 3/4"H x 40 1/8"W.

Cycles Gladiator - This is a poster/print of an advertising poster by Georges Massias for the Gladiator Cycle Company in 1895. This is a very interesting piece of art and a great conversation piece! Including the frame, this measures 43.5"Hx60" W

Fine Art Print, Signed & Numbered - Carriageway Gallery of Fine Arts presents this limited edition fine art print of an original oil painting by Myrl D'Arcy. This print is 123/500 and has the Certificate of Authenticity attached to the back. This piece is entitled "French Quarter Archway". Measures approximately 22 3/4" x 18 3/4"

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes - Here is a great piece of memorabilia for the Monroe lovers out there! This was created by Phoenix Art Projects, Inc and its title is listed as "Script Collection". On one half is the cover for "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" starring Marilyn Monroe & Jane Russell and the other half includes a picture of the two starlets together and facsimile signatures for each. Certificate of Authenticity is a sticker on the back covering. Measures approximately 22" Hx26 1/8"W.

The Lyre Bird - Here is a poster print of an original painting by artist Brett Whiteley (1939-1992) entitled "The Lyre Bird." A bold and beautiful depiction of a bird with vibrant, exotic plumage in deep colors. The last 4 pictures show a bit of rubbing/scratching on the frame and some dimples and holes on the back covering. Please see photos. Measures approximately 43 1/4"H x 30 3/4W.

French Advertising Poster Reproduction - Here is a poster print of a vintage French advertising poster made in 1906 for Maurin Quina, a French absinthe aperitif produced by Maurin-Brenas from Le Puy. The original artist is Leonetto Cappiello. Measures approximately 51 1/8"H x 39 3/4W.

Maccheroni Pianigiani - Here is a poster of a vintage advertisement for Maccheroni Pianigiani, originally created in 1922 by Achille Luciano Mauzan. This would look fantastic in a dining room or little cafe. Beautiful primary colors and a nice frame combine to make a very striking piece of art! Measures approximately 57.5"H x 41"W.

Bullfight Poster - Bullfight poster from 1990. Plaza de Toros, La Fiesta bullring, Nuevo Laredo, Tamps. Featuring Leandro Quiroga Machaquito & Arturo Manzur.
