Listing Information

Yes, you read it right!  This week we are in Frisco.  Before you skip over this one because it’s “too far”, please read all the way to the bottom and review all the photos.  This home is so clean and bright and the treasures it holds are amazing!  It does have a second floor, but for your shopping convenience, we have brought everything downstairs.  You will notice some gorgeous Christmas decorations around in the living room.  Believe me, that is not all of it!  The garage holds some of the most wonderful decorations you’ve ever seen!  We’ll get to that in a minute….

The first thing you will notice as you enter the home is a wonderful tapestry hanging over the balcony.  Its serene path and greenery will compliment any room.  There is a chase lounge and side chair in matching upholstery is just below.  There are also matching pillows and an ottoman.  An inviting set to be sure.  This is just the tip of the iceberg in the furniture department.  By the front door is a small hall-tree with a marble top.  Speaking of marble, there is a French Provincial marble topped occasional table in the garage.  (This isn’t your dad’s garage!) There are so many beautiful offerings you almost forget to look at the pieces they are displayed on.  Like the small black chest with a muted floral motif, or the tall jewelry chest or even the half-round table that is just precious.  Here, too, is the 3-piece entertainment center; the end pieces are rounded topping off the grouping. A glass-topped table sits in the center of the room; don’t miss the wonderful black Asian themed chest it rests on.  Check out the floral inlay design!  Around the home you will find a great selection of Early American style offerings: a dresser with mirror, a coffee table, several side tables, occasional tables and a small chest.  The 4 burgundy fabric covered straight back chairs would be great around any dining table.  The 2 corner bookshelves are also rounded like the entertainment center……so classy.  There are 2 room screens: 1 is metal and the other is wood with arches and pink fabric centers.  If you are needing barstools there are 2 great wrought iron stools in an off-white with a grapevine decorative in the center of the back.  We have a king size 4-poster bed frame and a queen set that is black and gold.  There is also both a queen-size and a full-size mattress set.

The decorative items in this home are a sight to behold.  Awesome decorative birdcages of varying sizes, one is approximately 4’ to 5’ tall!  A great set of nesting wicker chests and fabulous lamps are tucked here and there.  A great collection of animal figurines: rabbits, owls, horses, elephants, dogs, even a precious little fawn.  There is a fantastic mirror that is made up of assorted sizes of mirrored tiles.  There is a pair of lighted wall sconces that are simply beautiful!  Uniquely shaped, with beads and bangles and a floral motif.  They honestly have the “WOW” factor. On the glass top table is a nice selection of Asian themed items: lamps, tea set, figurines just waiting for a new home.

In the kitchen area is a nice little off-white bench with storage under the seat and a grapevine motif decorating the back.  The dining table is tile-topped with painted fruit decorating the border.  The fruit motif is carried onto the back of the chairs.  This ensemble is sure to make any meal festive!  There is a white utility cart on wheels.  On top sits one of the 2 microwave ovens; the other is on the counter.  There’s also your typical kitchens finds: knives, mugs, utensils, etc. but we have a set of vintage Pyrex mixing bowls in graduated sizes, an electric skillet, a toaster over and a KitchenAid mixer, to mention a few of the small appliances.  Then, there’s the pots and pans…..not just any pots and pans but a great set of Salad-Master cookware!  If you are starting a collection or adding to it, this is the place to be.

The Ladies clothing is designer and high-end quality.  You will find everything from evening dresses and jeans; tennis shoes to after 5 pumps.  There are wonderful handbags/purses, such as the fun and colorful Vera Bradley items and a collection of vintage hats.  Now is the perfect time to find you a coat from the selection available.  Winter is just around the corner.  Clothing sizes are up to a 14 with the shoe sizes being 9 and 9½.  Don’t miss the sweet little antique christening gown.

If you are in the market for durable medical equipment, check here first.  There is a Go-Go scooter, a wheelchair, walkers and canes.  We even have a great adjustable, rolling bed tray.

Since you are in the garage by now, you know there is yard equipment, tools, extension cords, etc. but have you seen the Radio Flyer red wagon?  How about the Razor scooter or the black wrought iron garden bench or the wonderful ceiling medallion?  If you love your music, you will spend some time here as this is where the huge assortment of CDs, LPs and 45s are living.  There is such a neat selection of cassette tapes, too!

Calling all scrapbooking wizards!!  There are several storage racks with drawers filled with everything you need!  Paper cutters, cut-outs, scrapbook pages with so many different designs your eyes will think they are on vacation.

You can’t be in the garage without seeing the Christmas decorations.  There are also Halloween costumes and decorations, but the gorgeous Nativity set demands your attention.  The beautifully made ceramic pieces are hard to look away from.  A true scene stealer! There are large sleighs decorated so wonderfully with Santa figurines, Christmas trees, presents and the list goes on and on.  So many items make up these special treasures.  The lighted village would be delightful for any child (or adult!) to assemble.  If you are a collector of cherubs and angels, plan on adding to your collection!

Words can’t accurately describe the wonders we have available.  The pictures help, but you must see these treasures in person to truly appreciate their beauty.  This event is honestly worth the drive!  You won’t be sorry, plus you’ll have a good time!  See ya’ in Frisco!
