PUMPKINTOWN RIDGE ONLINE AUCTION   Wooded with red oaks, poplars, cedars and pine, this ridge has an always picture perfect view of Table Rock. From his balcony he has an unobstructed view of, not only Table Rock, but Caesar's Head, and Glassy Mountain too. Scavenged circa 1780 boards taken from a Pendleton area plantation house were used to build parts of his house, and for 45 years he worked his farmstead, boarding horses in the barn he built. The pasture where horses and a few cows grazed was once covered by 100 foot tall trees he logged to build the barn, guest house, tool shed, and a greenhouse. The seedlings he'd nurture each spring would grow into corn, tomatoes, green beans and anything else he chose to raise. He loved nature. Near the greenhouse, the observation platform grandchildren used as a fort overlooks a sloping meadow where wild turkeys forage in the morning. Deer and bear are seen on occasion. Bittersweet, it's time to leave. Life now requires less. Simplification. Downsizing.

**FEATURING: This sale features Like New Custom-Made Pella Windows, floor to ceiling sized, all with original stickers still attached, also, "Like-New" Anderson French Doors fitted with quality brass hardware, all costing thousands of dollars to the original buyer. There are 12 vintage 1930s-'40s solid-wood doors, and a full kitchen, new in 2011. This kitchen was built new, used two years,  and removed for all new cabinets and appliances. The original cabinets and kitchen appliances are in our sale**
