Sale Summary:
We have the opportunity to present
you with two estates this weekend. Each estate by itself was probably
too small for a nice sale; together, they combine to make a full house
of fun stuff that you’ll really enjoy exploring. The host house isn’t a
large one, so we’ve used every nook and cranny to prepare a great place
for you to “find” really unusual and special things. It’s a great
variety not only in range of interests but also in span of years and
styles.
One set of treasures comes form the Living Estate
downsize of Mr. Charles Knapp. Knapps had lived their married life in
our host house. You’ll find lots of well loved things from this group,
as well as some nice furnishings and tools, and more.
Our second
set of treasures comes from the Estate of Lucile Rataczak. While we’ve
moved this group for the sale, it also comes from a “whole married life”
home, and has its own set of treasures. This one has Galena and Joplin
roots, so some interesting memorabilia from the Kansas side is included.
It also has a very interesting group of their son’s toys (and perhaps a
few they “handed down” to him) which are in good condition.
Check
out the online pics to see what we have. While neither household was
“ritzy” you’ll find good quality well cared for things, and some very
unusual and hard to find collectibles as well. The quantity is
significant, and the variety is impressive. We’re honored to be asked
to find new homes for the things each of them selected so carefully,
took great care of, and are now ready to send along to bring tradition
and pleasure to your home!
As in most estates, we have the
opportunity to share with you an accumulation of treasures, whatnots and
“favorite things!” Enjoy the range of offerings as you browse the
online pictures! Whether you’ re shopping for your “special interests,”
scouting for things for the home place, helping someone get
re-established in a new place, or thinking about furniture needs, wall
hangings, prints, collectibles, equipment, or just some “normal things”
that you need for your place, I think we’ll trip your trigger a time or
three.
