The late Jane Powell, who passed late last year at the age of 84, operated Powell's Greenwood Ranch Resort until she died. Jane had many residual customers for the cabin rentals, and although she was 'feisty' she was loved by many!! Jane was a former downhill ski instructor at Alpine Valley in her younger days, and lived a very active life as the Proprietor of the family resort until she passed. Her passion for antiques inspired her to start the ' Red Apple Antique' business which closed over a decade ago. Many of the antiques in this auction are family items and are over 100 years old! Also included in the auction event will be a 1970 Olds Tornado, firearms and antique fishing items! All of the furniture from the 7 cabins -much of which is antique- will also be sold, as well as 9 aluminum boats, a vintage wooden fishing boat, paddle boat, an antique cedar-strip canoe, crocks, jugs, art work that needs some research, and "You will want to watch the website for more information" merchandise!! We typically don't sell this far away from our home base unless it's a commercial auction, but this one is an exception:) Make plans to attend this event!
