Auction Terms & Conditions

By Bidding on any Item you are accepting the terms and condition of this auction.

All items are sold strictly as is, where is including all faults. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition and authenticity of an item. Island Auction Co. strives to accurately describe all auction items, however, written and/or oral descriptions are only our opinion and should not be considered a guarantee or warranty either expressed or implied. Also, the absence of a condition report does not does not imply it is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear.

By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. Bidders cannot rescind or reduce their bids. All sales are final - no refunds or returns.

Island Auction Co. reserves the right to reject any bid at its sole discretion.

Auctioneer has right to withdraw or add items at their sole discretion, can group individual lots together or split single lots into multiples, and has right to settle all bidding disputes.

Loading purchased items is the sole responsibility of the buyer, and Island Auction Co. is not liable for any loss incurred during that process. BRING YOUR OWN HELP TO LOAD YOUR ITEMS> OUR STAFF WILL N OT BE AVAILABLE TO MOVE ITEMS.

15% Buyer's Premium charged to all online bidders.

All online purchases must be paid for upon receipt of invoice.

A valid credit card must be made available to secure all online bidding and may be used for payment of invoice. Acceptable forms of payment include MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cash & approved check with a valid US billing address.

Invoices containing jewelry, coins or silver will require payment by cash, wire transfer, or approved certified funds if you have not established a prior bidding history with our company. Island Auction Co. reserves the right to hold items paid for by check until the check has cleared.

All sales subject to Virginia sales tax as stipulated by state law, unless you have a resale certificate on file.

All items must be picked up on the Designated day ( 10/3/20 & 10/4/2020) unless prior arrangements have be made. Any items not claimed on those two days will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Island Auction Co. with no refunds given.

Pick up is done at the responsibility of the buyer. All packing, handling, shipping and delivery services are performed at the sole risk of the buyer. Purchases must be paid for in full prior to pick up.

Registered bidders will be added to our customer database & will be sent email notices of upcoming auctions.

Any announcements made day of auction take precedence over printed matter.

Any and all disputes resulting or arising in connection with this auction shall be heard in the general court of Dare County, North Carolina as the sole and exclusive venue.
