Welcome to Lex.CTBids Holiday Online Auction!  We have prepared this auction with holiday gift-giving, decorating & cooking in mind.  Now that we are all in the online shopping mode – find unique and special items here with pick-ups in plenty of time to prepare for Christmas. Plus, the Global ‘Giving Tuesday’ event falls on our auction closing night. So, in true Caring Transitions fashion, we are adding even more charity giving in this auction. CT will donate 35% of your Buyer’s Premium to charity, plus all proceeds from our Charity Cash-n-Carry Store AND all lots in this auction with a ‘CC’ in the SKU field. Blow-out Christmas items – donated to charity. This year we will be giving to ‘The Caring Place’. Learn more about this vital community organization at www.a-caring-place.com. This auction will start closing on Tuesday, Dec 1st at 8:00pm (notice this is later than normal).  Winning bidders will be invoiced electronically that evening, make payment from invoice, then plan to pick-up items on Thursday, Dec 3rd between 1-6pm at the warehouse. Good news – we are going to try running pick-ups without an appointment. We will allow 5 cars inside the gate at a time.  (Hint: 1:00pm will have the longest wait time.) If you think you won items in this auction and do not see an invoice email from us on Tuesday night, please go check your Junk email folder or sign onto the auction site, click on the 3 white bars on the top right, then ‘My Account’, then ‘Invoice Purchases’ to see your new invoice. Also, look for an important email from us Tuesday night with all details on payment, pick-ups, delivery, and shipping. Note – we do not automatically charge credit cards, so you must take action to pay your invoice.

COVID-19 Compliant Details:

1. No Preview – all Preview Events are cancelled until further notice. We hope that our descriptions and pictures are good enough to ensure confidence in bidding. This will help us keep you, our employees and our warehouse as safe as possible.
2. Pick-ups – only 5 cars allowed inside the gate at a time.  Once you enter the gate, remain in your car until CT checks you in. Must wear mask.  
3. Affordable Front Door Delivery Option – stay home and let us arrange delivery to your door. Most deliveries at $85.  More for distance and bulky items.  Send us an email requesting delivery after auction ends.  We will confirm the fee and schedule your delivery for Thursday or Friday. You will pay the delivery company directly – cash preferred.
4. Alternate Pick-up - Need to schedule a pick-up on another day or time?  We can do that!  Just let us know and we will schedule another day to meet you at the warehouse. The following CASH fees apply:  For up to 2 lots of small items - $10. For any furniture or more than 2 lots with small items - $20 or more based on space required. This fee applies to ALL pick-ups before or after our normal pick-up day/time. Remember – you need to pay your invoice on-time, even when planning to pick your items up later. Items need to be picked up within a week of the normal pick-up day. Items left will be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued.

Make sure you check-in to see what’s new!  You can buy items and pick them up on Thursday or check the Virtual Store post for additional scheduled pick-up days/times. These items are only available for immediate purchase, click on ‘Buy It Now’. Thanks for embracing this Virtual Store, where all proceeds are donated to charity.

UPDATE:  HUGE BASEBALL CARD COLLECTION FOR SALE!

Interested in collectible baseball cards, figures, magazines and more? We are now ready to start taking private bids on a huge collection (as mentioned in a previous email).  Please view Ads posted on Lex.CTBids.com for pictures and more information.  Serious collectors may make a private appointment to view the entire collection or come during pick-ups on Dec 3rd between 1-6pm (one at a time for up to 30 minutes).  You may make a private offer for all or part of the collection, as we have it separated. You will not be allowed to make an offer on a single piece. Please email or text Lea with your best offer before 8:00pm, Dec 3rd. Offers are binding, please only make an offer you are willing to uphold. We will communicate with all top contenders on Dec 4th. If there are 2 people with very close bids, we may offer a 2ND and final bid opportunity to them – no others. Note – we will not share bidding information prior to the deadline. CT reserves the right to accept or decline any and all offers on behalf of the owner and/or post on future online auction, if offers are not acceptable. 15% Buyer’s Premium and 6% sales tax will be added to your offer price.
