GRS is proud to announce that we will be working with the Missouri Botanical Gardens to liquidate the assets of the Ridgway Visitor Center, in order to make way for the new higher capacity Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center, that is being constructed throughout the next two years. With so many great resources coming from the old building we’re excited to be participating in the auction industries version of Circular Economy®. GRS’ goal is to put used but still usable materials back into growing businesses, this allows new advancements for expanding companies, like the Missouri Botanical Gardens, while keeping functional assets in the market and out of the dump. “Much has changed since the Garden’s Ridgway Visitor Center opened in 1982—most notably the number of Garden visitors. The existing visitor center was designed to accommodate 250,000 visitors per year. Today the Garden welcomes nearly one million. As we look to sustain and build on that growth, the new Taylor Visitor Center will be critical to ensuring an exceptional experience for visitors at every point of the Garden”.
