C. and Elizabeth Solomon were long-time residents of Oktibbeha County. Mr. Solomon retired from the U. S. Postal Service and Mrs. Solomon from Mississippi State University. Both were avid collectors of antiques. They traveled and operated an antique booth in Columbus, MS for many years with which they bought and sold a variety of collectibles. During their 60 plus years of marriage, the Solomon’s accumulated antique furniture, home furnishings, stoneware, and a large collection of Blue Willow china. Mrs. Solomon’s passion of home design and decorating is reflected in the fine home furnishings they purchased.
