This is a FABULOUS sale. You must have an invitation to attend. Please print notification/ invitation, which will be published the day before the sale on this site. Norma Perusina was the daughter of Adolph Belliumino and a life time resident of Galveston. Adolph Belliumino was born in Italy in 1873 and came to Galveston in the 20's. They owned many businesses, such as a liquor store and restaurants in Galveston. Norma & Jimmy owned Heart Breakers Gentlemen's Club in League City. The house contains several pieces of artwork. One of the artists is A.D.Greer (Audrey Dale Greer), born in 1904 in Pondcreek, Oklahoma and spent his 93 years in pursuit of life and all it had to offer. He moved to Austin in 1972 where for many years he taught informal classes at his studio. A.D. knew how to handle light, colors and composition. His Texas landscape paintings are one of the best out there His works were featured in two Sears Catalogs, as well as, in Calendars for Best Printing in the years 1988, 1992 and 1998. He did commissioned work for Charles Lindburg, Will Rogers, Governor Allan Shrivers, Michael Halbouty and Frank Irwin. His painting "Cattle Country" was purchased by Lyndon B. Johnson and exhibited at the White House during his presidency. On November 1, 1980, A.D. was made an Honorary Texas Ranger. Works were exhibited throughout the United States in galleries such as Allen Art Gallery, Taos Art Gallery, American Fine Arts Gallery, Laguna Gloria Art Museum, Sherwoods Gallery, Florence Art Gallery, and he received two first place blue ribbons at the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame Art Exhibition in 1979 and 1980. A.D. Greer passed away in 1998 at the age of 93. A. D. Greer Art works in this sale are: 3 Still Life's of Grapes & Wine commissioned by Jimmy and Norma and Framed to match. Other artists include Robert Cox, A. Palmero and Liz Rowan. So far, we've unearthed a large collection of bar and restaurant ware, match books, sterling and silver plate ware.... more to come!
