Listing Information

Please help us empty this magnificent house in Hawkins Glen in Salem, NH.  Everything is for sale and nothing will be held back!  The basement and garage are filled with a HUGE collection of gardening items to support the amazing 14 perennial gardens. You will find statues, iron work, trellises, tables, and decorations. There are hundreds of planters, tools, greenhouses, and birdhouses - everything you need to make your own garden the envy of your neighbors.  Best of all is the antique French iron patio set with 4 beautiful peacock armchairs and a large round table. This set was professionally repainted to be brought inside and is truly outstanding.

There are many antiques for sale in the house including period drop-leaf tables,, a large spinning wheel,  restored bakery box, and a number of wood and metal occasional tables. There is an empire sleigh bed, a Victorian cradle and a solid mahogany Paine ball and claw foot table. We found some beautiful Nippon and other older items including paintings, prints, a Victorian humidor,  a Rogers marching drum, and an antique Juzek violin and bow. There are many older dolls and quilts. We even found an early leather medical bag filled with antique medical instruments. Everything was packed up to stage the house for sale so we are STILL unloading at least 20 more boxes of smalls from the basement. Keep checking back for surprises!

3 large boxes were filled with a large amount of vintage costume jewelry! We are still cataloging but we have found a very nice selection of Edwardian and art deco lavalieres, brooches, and some cufflinks and tie pins. There are stick pins, rings, bracelets and earrings galore!  There are tons of costume pieces by Miriam Haskell, Coro, Trifari and others – Please check back – we haven’t  photo’d it all yet. - - but you won’t be disappointed.

There are top quality household items including chromed steel carts with butcher block top, drawers and shelves.  There are storage cabinets, office equipment, kitchen appliances, high end vacuum cleaners, and sporting goods. There is a Yamaha synthesizer,  many record lps from the 50’s thru 70’s, vintage electronics, and LOTS of decorative items. The basement is full of hundreds of vintage planters and vases including Brush, McCoy, Haeger, USA pottery and more! There are also decorations for every holiday - lots of boxes to look through.

Sale starts at 9AM Saturday – no early entry – just show up – it will definitely worth the trip!
