Listing Information
Hi Everyone-OLE SUSANNAH'S ESTATE SALES is having a sale this weekend! DATES: Friday, May 8, 2015: 9:00 a. m. -3:00 p. m. ** Half Price SALE ON SATURDAY May 9th: 9am-2pm!** ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 2 PM ON SATURDAY!!! LOCATION: 2609 Pargoud Blvd. (on bayou side). Remember the Boat Races are Saturday and Loop Rd (by the Country Club) will be closed -- Westminster will be open for traffic) This is the estate sale of Anne & Reneau Breard (Mr. Reneau just recently moved to Assisted Living). They were married in Leicester, England in July 1945 and had three beautiful children. (Renee, the daughter is a close friend of mine & asked me to say that)! They moved into this lovely home on the Bayou in 1959 and lived there for 56 years. You will find lots of treasures here, many from England and from their worldly travels. They used to love to go "antiquing" and Miss Anne even helped at the old Bastrop Auction House on Monday nights. Mr. Reneau is doing well in his new living arrangements and he is the cutest thing (94 years young) since salt! Speaking of salt, his son Ken had taken him to the hospital for tests a couple of days ago. They left to go have lunch and the hospital called to tell them they had to come back because the test results needed immediate attention. Mr. Reneau asked Ken to call Renee to see if he could have a Margarita to celebrate Cinco de Mayo Day before he returned to the hospital--he ended up bargaining for two Margaritas and he would return peacefully! He's about as cute as they come--- This Sale was put together fast & furiously because house sold the first weekend and closes this Monday!!! Excuse length of sale-but we had to cut one day off since we only had three days to pull it together!!! Check out our website TONIGHT which will include all of the merchandise. Website: olesusannahsestatesales.com FURNITURE: Beautiful old dining room table (seating for 12); sofa, 6 small antique chairs, Antique wicker "potty" and wicker truck, occasional chairs and tables, drop leaf table, Italian stack tables, lamps, antique oriental screen with beautiful scenary, large round coffee table, outdoor bench, etc. KITCHEN: Kitchen appliances and numerous gadgets, old "50's" glass crab containers, mixing bowls, wooden salad bowls, cookbooks etc. MISCELLANEOUS: Many figurines, small pair of crystal lusters, fine porcelain china Gumbo bowls from England, many Coffee Table books, and lots of other books ARTWORK AND GLASSWARE: Signed Prints, very old framed oils, many prints from England, Lalique, Limoges, Liquor Decanters (sterling throat labels), crystal stemware, vases, pottery GARDEN : Garden Bench, pots, barbeque pit (one of the old cast aluminum ones--I have one and wouldn't trade it for anything--good even heat!)
