       It is with great pleasure that Marathon Auction Sales have been commissioned to sell at public auction, the contents of Mr. Carl Elliott’s beautiful 1800’s Federal stone residence in Moravia, New York. Mr. Elliott is a well-known New York Architect who is retiring to a much warmer climate. Carl’s home is beautiful! Carl put his heart and soul in this place and called it his Summer home. He surrounded himself with beauty & quality, which is reflected right down to his choice of appliances he purchased for his kitchen. I found it very interesting when Carl told me that he had “cooked his way through Julia Child’s cookbook” and when ever her receipt called for a special item, he went out and bought it. There are reflections of this in his kitchen. You can’t go wrong attending this wonderful auction if you are in search of nice things for your home, investments or collections.  The preview for this auction will be held right in the home and then offered piece by piece under the tent, so bring a chair and enjoy this wonderful auction.
     Carl’s beautiful home can be purchased through him at this time. He spared no money at all when decorating this home using designer wall coverings and sculpted ceilings. This property is also a rental income as well with the stone carriage house converted into two very nice apartments and is centrally located within a block to most everything one would need in life.  Price is at 275.000 and is firm.
