LOCATION: 1801 Pargoud Blvd. THIS IS ONE ESTATE SALE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!! If you go to one estate sale this year come to this one!! Estate Sale of Mrs. Joyce Kellogg, who was the epitome of a true Southern lady. She collected antiques and artifacts from her travels all over the world. She was very active in our community with the Garden Club and Jr. League and many charitable organizations. She and her husband, Dick, were the First Mardi Gras King and Queen. They were one of the first founding families of the Bayou DeSiard Country Club. She was so gracious that she left her membership to the Girls Golf Team at ULM (her club membership number was #1). Sadly, she passed away this year and her heirs have asked us to offer her absolutely fabulous estate to you. Miss Joyce was an avid collector of fine things. From original artwork to antiques and Hermes and Chanel Scarves. We have authenticated her things from EBay and other sources. Please come and plan on staying a while. You're in for a treat---from a $10.00 crystal candle holder to a $25,000 Russian Sable coat--you find it all here! Architect Edward Fairfax Neild, Sr. originally designed the home for the Malcolm Biedenharn family in 1935. There are several pages about Mr. Neild on the internet. One of his greatest achievements is that President Truman personally selected him as the architect for the Harry S.Truman Presidential Library as well as the Harry S. Truman Presidential Museum. The Kellogg's have lived in the house since 1940. Check out our website which will include all of the merchandise.
