Listing Information

We’ve got a really fun estate sale coming up for you on Friday and Saturday, September 21st & 22nd, from 8am-1pm. It is in the area of I-17 and Glendale Ave. This house was built in 1932 and has been in the same family since the 1950s. It is PACKED.

I hope you like tables crowded with stuff, racks and closets brimming full, and digging through boxes and bins. (Oh wait, I KNOW you like those things!) This is a fun and interesting sale, definitely worth your time. There are a few warnings I have to give though, just so you will be ready. The check-out and jewelry shopping area is SMALL. Please be patient at check-out, you know we will move as fast as we can. This is a two story house with several outbuildings and there are LOTS of “Watch Your Step” areas. This would not be a good sale for children or anyone with any mobility issues. It is NOT an easy house to get around in. I’m not going to gloss over it, there are some issues here with smell and dirt. If you are squeamish about spiders & spider webs, you may want to bring a swatter. We have sprayed but the house is chock full of webs and leggy little critters. Also, this person had many, many cats living in this house up until a few months ago. If you are allergic to cats be warned, there is a cat smell inside and out. (And some of our kind-hearted customers may want to take a cat or kitten home, as there are several needy cats still living outside on the property.) That said, this sale is chock-full of great stuff, so throw on some digging duds and sturdy shoes and head on over!

There is AN AVALANCHE of JEWELRY! I’ve bagged approximately 300 bags of jewelry and we’ll also have at least one case CHOCK FULL. Approximately 100 of the bags are vintage jewelry. (NO JEWELRY WILL BE KEPT AT THE HOUSE OUTSIDE OF SALE HOURS. All jewelry, including bagged jewelry, will be held at register until you are ready to check-out.)

We will be accepting sealed bids on the Suburban from start of sale until 11am on Saturday. I will contact the high bidder at that time and the vehicle must be paid for by close of sale, 1pm. Cash or cashiers check only on all vehicles. All vehicles sold as seen, tried and approved by the purchaser without any representations, warranties or conditions expressed or implied whatsoever.

We also have tons and tons (and TONS) of clothes! MORE CLOTHES than you will believe, as a matter of fact. There are 8 closets and 6 HUGE racks of clothing. I would say 60% of the clothes are top quality HSN clothes, UNWORN with tags or in their original bags. Lots of top brands like Slinky Brand, Maggie Sweet, Antthony, Diane Gilman, Cervelle, Terry Lewis, Suzanne Somers, Carolyn Strauss, Miss Tina, etc) There is also some LOVELY vintage clothing!

There is a lot of stuff here, and that is putting it mildly! There is a guest room outbuilding packed with boxes that we haven’t even opened yet, so who knows what we will find there. We’ll keep you updated.
