This house is Packed to the hilt - 56 years accumulation.  This one is crazy full of everything and we are scrambling to find spaces to display it all!

 

This long time Olympia/Seattle family helped start the Center for the Retarded which is maybe where the collecting began.  Large Supporters of the Odd Fellows, Elks, Angels, Masons, West Seattle Chamber of Commerce and W.S Rotary Club.

 

Featured is a great selection of USA Pottery, Jewelry, Military, Vintage Clothes, Quilts, Ephemera (postcards, calendars, maps, Sea Fair Programs and pins) , a collection of badges and pennants, Vintage clothes,  Cookbooks( old and new), Massive Kitchen, China, Glass and miscellaneous collectibles. 

 

Hours are Friday and Saturday, 9:00AM - 4:00PM, Sunday 10:00 – 4:00PM.  (October 5, 6, 7)

POTTERY: More than a dozen great pieces of Roseville alone McCoy, Weller, Shawnee and Bauer.  Lots of pottery animal figurines, knick-knacks and bisque “to be painted” pieces.

 

 EPHEMERA:  Maps, 70’s Railroad calendars, Rolling Stone, LOOK and LIFE magazines, Boy Scouts, Sea Fair Programs and one of the best selection of Postcards we’ve come across, many around 1908-1912 – lots from the North West.

 

JEWELRY: The cases of costume jewelry, especially rhinestone earrings, necklaces, pins, shoe clips and buckles.  Some earlier pins and necklaces; rhinestone buttons and jars of broken to be reclaimed jewelry. There are also many Crystal necklaces and a beautiful rose motif beaded purse.

ART: Original oil (many florals), prints, lithos, maps and posters.

KITCHEN:  A super collection of vintage and modern cookbooks, vintage aprons, kitchen supplies, canning jars (come early – they go fast).  Pots, pans, utensiles, etc. so much that it is spilling out into the backyard and basement!

CLOTHING/COSTUMES:   Ladies - come and get your glam 50’s 60’s and 70’s dresses.  Also, Slips galore, shoes, hats and accessories.  Men’s vintage clothes include Pendleton and WWI and Korean Military outfits!   Adult costumes include Witch and Clown get-ups.

SEWING:   Two sewing machines. There is some vintage material, patterns, yarn and sewing supplies.

GLASSWARE/CHINA: We have a massive collection of glassware, glass serving trays, glasses, teacups, a set of Noritake china, silver plate serving pieces, some depression glass and not one, not two, but three punch bowl sets, perfect for the Halloween cider.

FURNITURE:  Three early dressers with mirrors, (one oak, one cream colored and one that is both (partially stripped). There are lots of end tables, side tables, two bookcases (short and tall), a 70’s green love seat and one blue 50’s hide-bed that needs a little love.  Also a mid century buffet and table with 6 chairs.  The full bed frame matches the cream dresser.

AUDIO/RECORDS: Some records (oldies, children’s, 45’s and some 70’s kitch).  Two upright reel to reels (both by Teacs and one was still in the box) 4 record players from the 40’s to the 60’s (one Sony battery operated), 2 bakelite tube radios, a “parts tube radio”, tubes and a great 50’s Space Commander TV.  There are also two stereos, one is Pioneer and a Gerard turn table.

LINENS/QUILTS: A large and nice array of embroidered pillow cases and runners, brightly colored table clothes, doilies and colorful tea towels.  Bedding for twin and queen beds including bedspreads, one large leopard print and an orange floral fuzzy bedspreads.   There are many quilts and quilt tops.  Mostly from the 20’s - 40’s and the tops are especially colorful, WOW!!!

OFFICE:  Cool vintage office supplies and accessories, two typewriters, adding machines and pens.

TOOLS/ MISC.: There are some tools and hardware and garden hand tools.  Lots of wooden crates, small terracotta pots, two pairs of great vintage skis. A few old cameras as well.
