Sale Summary: We are liquidating the living Estate
of a lifelong area resident, who lived and reared her family in the same
home on the north side of Webb City for most of her adult life. She has
decided it’s time to live where other folks do the cooking, cleaning
and laundry. The house sold before we could conduct the Estate sale, so
the fine folks at College Press have allowed us the use of their former
facility at 3rd and Wall in Joplin, and we’ve moved the Estate items
there for this sale. (That fine old building is on the market, by the
way, so be sure to give it a look while you’re at our sale.) We think
you’ll really enjoy the wide range of things in a very interesting
inventory that has accumulated over many years of living and growing
children in the same place.
You’ll find a very nice variety in
eras and interest. The range includes antiques and unusual vintage and
retro items. It includes Webb City, Joplin, and other area memorabilia
and old paper, WWII and other Militaria, and of course some just plain
useful everyday stuff. As usual, some things will be “ooh’s and aah’s,â€
some will be “take it home and use it†stuff, some is just fun stuff,
and yes, there are some really unusual and interesting pieces. As
always, if you don’t know what it is, ask us. We’ll either be glad to
share what we know, or make up a cool story for it!
