After 40 years in this house, the homeowner is moving to be closer to her children, and she is downsizing and leaving many of her possessions behind. There will be more as she makes decisions on what to keep and what to leave, but for now here are the basics: Living room: Cable-Nelson upright piano in a light color, green velour sofa and loveseat that can be set up as a sectional, two small, cozy armchairs, black leather recliner Dining room: Modern table with two leaves and six cane-back chairs, shelving unit, mid-century modern china cabinet, record cabinet packed with classical and Broadway show records, tiny table with drawer. Teacup collection, some china, Japanese tea set, breadbox. Kitchen: Kitchenette for five with light-color upholstered chairs, microwave, Sunbeam standing mixer, we'll see what else. Office: Two desks, one chair, one Mengel chest of drawers, a vintage rocker with paisley cushions, purple sofa, coffee table, several bookshelves, lots of books Bedroom 1: Mid-century modern black chest of drawers, dresser with mirror and queen-size bed with bookcase headboard, and nightstands. Bedroom 2: Full-size bed, dresser with mirror, desk, vintage ladies' clothing. Basement: Two chests, a cabinet, more packed bookshelves, dozens of vintage small items including kitchen wares and decorative items, Kelvinator freezer from the '50s that still works fine, cabinet, we'll see what else is left. Basement bedroom: Full-size bed, mid-century modern desk, small dresser, Sears Lifestyler treadmill. Garage: Wood ladder, metal extension ladder, steamer trunk, some vintage tools, one whole wall of books. There will be costume and sterling jewelry.
