The sale contents are a combination of numerous recent Estate acquisitions from sources where on-site sales were not feasible. Nearly all of the items being offered are fresh and have never been shown before.  Many will be attractively priced with intent to appeal to dealers and private parties alike.  We will invite offers and actively bargain as the sale proceeds into Sunday and Monday.  The facility is spacious, parking is convenient on the weekend. The building is fully accessible.  Good security is in place with monitored alarm, closed circuit surveillance and alert staff.  In the pursuit of safety for all, we will keep congestion to a minimum.  Please come and enjoy yourselves.
 
Sale contents include a large collection of Asian furnishings and decorative wares including approximately 200 South East Asian ceramics, a number of good 17th century Chinese blue and white Ming examples, and an array of lacquer and metal wares, both Chinese and Japanese.  

We are also offering is a profound assembly of African figural sculpture, masks and basketry.  These pieces are from an older collection and have good resonance.  Many are of good size and all are bold and exciting.  As well, there are approximately 60 African jewelry items: trade beads, large bronze hollow beads, and stone and ceramic offerings.

This is a strong jewelry sale with thousands of fine and silver jewelry items along with 50 flats of very good, very flashy vintage costume jewelry with a number of signed pieces.  This may be our best costume offering to date. The sale also includes 32 pieces of older jadeite items: rings, pendants and bangles.  All the pieces are “A” quality jade without treatment or dying.


A number of modernist furnishings are available.  Included is a “Pacifica” suite of furniture from Vista of Anaheim California.  It includes two sofas, two arm chairs, corner table, 6 section modular coffee table, side table and two bar stools.  The chairs and sofas are decked out in original white naugahyde. The owner of this furniture set hosted Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. in the early 60’s, and the family has provided a photo of him sitting on the sofa. 


A remarkable selection of Oriental rugs in area and room sizes, approximately 50 pieces. Beautiful color schemes and patterns. Purchased by an avid collector in their countries of origin.
 

Asian, American and Continental case and table goods including a Lalique frosted glass dessert set and a pair of nice Royal Vienna painted compotes along with other quality silver, glass and ceramics pieces.


Large showcase filled with newly arrived sterling silver hollowware and flatware, including Tiffany, Shreve, and Mexican silver.


We will also be previewing examples of a collection of antique and vintage sewing items representing 4,000 plus pieces.  The full collection will be offered at our next sale. Just for perspective, there are over 600 silver and gold thimbles alone.
