We have been having so much fun at our sales up north, we thought we would let our Southern friends in on all this fun. This sale in Duncanville has something for EVERYONE, regardless of your taste or money in your pocketbook! With it being an election year, we have something very special: your own BALLOT BOX! Yep, an antique ballot box from North Farmersville. No hanging chads here, just jot down your vote and drop it in the box. Too much fun!! Whatever type of “trinket” you are looking for, you can find at least one here at this sale. We have brass items from large round table tops to candle sticks to buckets to boxes. Many, many beautiful Asian themed treasures in all shapes and sizes, too. You’ve just got to see the large orange and gold iridescent bowl in the living area…wow. Our furniture ranges from mid-century mahogany to modern rattan; there is a wonderful oak dining room table and chairs in the Asian motif, a round glass-top table with wooden “malt shop” type chairs and a roomy leather sectional sofa. Check out the mid-century turquoise side chairs. They’re not only cool, they are comfortable too! And who can pass up the great brass and glass wall units? Oh, yeah, there’s a great little rattan child’s bench with storage under the seat. It sits close to the square coffee table made with mirrors…..how 60’s! For those folks needing medical equipment, we have a “hospital” bed and oxygen regenerator. All priced to fit your budget. The kitchen holds some great cookware of all sorts. Beautiful blue and yellow stoneware with a large mixing bowl. This stuff is almost too pretty to cook in! We have crock pitchers, colorful and whimsical drinking glasses, bowls for mixing and bowls for cereal. It’s all here. Oh, we even have mugs with mugs! Check ‘em out! The glassware includes crystal, candlewick, blue and white and some depression glass in green, peach and pink! Don’t forget the Milk glass!! Did you see the great Thanksgiving platter? You know, the one with the big turkey on it?! It’s awesome mid-century design would add great conversation to your dinner table this year. There are also tea pots and pitchers of all shapes and sizes. Our clothing line this week has a little bit of everything; from Army coats to Neiman Marcus coats; housecoats to petticoats; and a gorgeous wedding dress with a pearl bodice. If you are looking for wicker baskets, we have ‘em all. From Easter to picnic to ones you take to the beach. But if lamps are your thing, we have large ones and small ones; ginger jar shaped and clip on. A great selection of electronics are on hand, too. They can be found sitting on a beautiful antique sideboard. It has two drawers and two side cabinets, you know, like the one Big Mama used to have. It is in the room with all the books and Christmas decorations. There are some beautiful decorations at this home. And a large selection of Poinsettias that actually look real! Vintage games and wooden toys live here too. So does an Easy Bake oven….remember those? Just what the kids need to hold them over until school starts. Speaking of electronics, we have a Bell & Howell projector, slide viewers, tripods, printers and universal remotes just to name a few items. A cabinet with a marble top holds an assortment of jars and oil lamps. Different shapes and sizes too. Just outside the sewing room, is a fabulous hand carved walking stick. Not too heavy but nice and sturdy….a great conversation starter. On in the sewing room is the vintage Singer sewing machine in a great cabinet. There are spools and spools of thread and all other sewing notions you may need. While you are there, go ahead and pick up same fabric. You know you need some! Take a look in the closet before you leave this room. There are cowboy boots, hats and some Muk-Luks! Bright and colorful, you’ll love ‘em. In the back room is where the rattan furniture is. In here, also, is a wonderful door with beveled glass inlay. Sort of thing that not everyone has, but would like to have. There are also small appliances. Most are barely used and need a good home. Brass and copper, wicker and leather, crystal and china it’s all here, and it’s all for sale at prices you won’t believe!
