BUYERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNDERSTANDING THE FOLLOWING:

This auction simulates a live auction and will add 3 minutes to an item when competitive bids are coming in. This is an absolute auction with no reserves. All bidders must be at least 18 years old.

NOTE: All web auction times are Eastern Standard Time (EST) – 3 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time (PST)

BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS
All items are sold AS IS. Items are photographed and described as accurately as possible, with significant defects noted. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage and used item. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any cock, watch, electronic or mechanical devices. Dimensions given may be approximate.

A bid is an AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE the item(s) – you are committing to purchasing and picking up your winning item. Do not bid if you cannot pick up your item(s) at the time and place stated above.

Bidding privileges may be suspended if you default on this agreement.


PAYMENT
At the entire auction has closed, please wait for an INVOICE from Caring Transitions (NOT PayPal) that will be emailed to you once the entire auction has closed. If you win multiple items, the invoice will be emailed to you once the auction has closed. If you win multiple items, the invoice will have all items purchased on one invoice. Seller requires pre-payment through PayPal. Payment must be received within 24 hours of auction close, and must clear PayPal prior to pick up.

Resellers:
Resellers are required to provide a copy of their tax exemption form and sign the CA Resale Tax Form that will be kept on file. Submit via email to bbrown@caringtransitions.com.
• A 15% Buyers Premium and 8% California sales tax will be added to each purchase
• Out of State buyers are required to pay California sales Tax

Items must be picked up during our scheduled pick up time for this Auction:

About Pickup…
• Bring plenty of help for large items – due to insurance restrictions, we cannot assist in loading.
• Bring packaging, totes, boxes and/or wrapping for your items
• Pick up is Friday September 23, 2-6pm & Saturday September 24, 9:30 am-12pm Pacific Time. When the auction ends auction winners will receive an invoice with pick-up information from Caring Transitions.

FAILURE TO PAY OR PICKUP
Failure to pay for won items will result in being removed from the Caring Transitions database and you will not be able to bid in future auctions. The item(s) will be resold. If you pay, but fail to pick up your items, you will be charged a $75 call out free to meet at a later date. If item(s) are not picked up within 7 days of scheduled pickup, they will be considered abandoned. You will forfeit your right to the item(s) and no refund will be issued. If you have any issues paying for, or picking up, your items we strongly encourage you to communicate with us as soon as possible.

If you have an emergency, or need to make alternate arrangements, email us at: bbrown@caringtransitions.com. Caring Transitions is under no obligation to meet special requests. All late fees will apply to any alternate pick up agreement.

NOTE: BRING ENOUGH HELP TO LIFT, CARRY & LOAD YOUR ITEMS

SHIPPING
This is a LOCAL PICKUP auction. However, if shipping is desired, advise the Auction Manager immediately after receiving and paying your invoice. Additional charges will be billed once packed and taken to a shipper. All shipping charges are determined by UPS or USPS. If you have large or unusual shaped or fragile items, material handling costs will be added accordingly. Allow 2-4 weeks for shipping.
