Listing Information

Ole Susannah's is having an Estate Sale this weekend!  This is the estate sale of Louise and Paul Bonin.  In his college days in the late 30's and early 1940's, Paul played football at Louisiana Tech. When Louise was a freshman, she was required to get the Captain of the football team to sign her "handkerchief", as well as all the other players autographs. He must have wanted to impress her because he got every single player's autograph! That was their first introduction---and the rest is history. Louise was a beauty and was on the Homecoming Court for two years.  They both graduated from Tech in the early 40's. Paul served in the U.S. Coast Guard after graduation.  They were married almost 60 years (until his death) and had four children.  You will be delighted that she was a Home Economics major because there's all kind of quilting supplies, yarn, sewing machines, material etc.  As a DAR, she gave lectures on the history of quilting. They were both interested in Genealogy and there are many books on History, Genealogy and Quilt Making.
