Sale Summary:
This week we are combining 2 Estates
which could not be sold “at home.†Once again, we appreciate the
hospitality of our friends at College Press, and have combined the 2
estates at their former offices at 3rd & Wall in Joplin. The owners
of each estate had lived alone for some time, so we’re combining a
“mostly guy stuff†estate with a “mostly gal stuff†estate. The things
from Mr. Carr’s estate were placed in storage at his passing a short
while ago, due to a quick sale of the residence. Mrs. Lewis had lived in
an apartment which wasn’t available as a sale site when she moved to a
smaller, fully furnished residence recently. With the 2 sets combined,
we think you’ll really enjoy the range of a very interesting and quality
inventory that has accumulated over a lot of years and two varied
interests. We think you’ll find some very nice, very unusual things for
your home or to pass along to someone. If you can’t find them on your
own, we’re happy to help!
The range includes current, vintage and
some antique items. We have solid and economical furnishings, and of
course some just plain useful everyday stuff. As usual, some things
will be “ooh’s and aah’s,†some will be “take it home and use it†stuff,
and some is just fun stuff. As always, if you don’t know what it is,
ask us. We’ll either be glad to share what we know, or make up a cool
story for it!

Bid
box available all day, and will processed after close of Sale. As
always, some items will be subject to a minimum reserve, and many items
have multiple people placing bids on them, so our recommendation, as
always, is to bid the highest amount you're interested in giving for the
item. Except in case of a tie, there are no second chances in the bid
box!
